Do NOT stay here
When we arrived there was a vehicle in the driveway that had no tags and took up most of the driveway thank goodness we were only 1 vehicle. No big deal we can get over that but then we go in and the place is dirty food crumbs in the fridge microwave was dirty bathroom mirror had tooth paste on it and the list could go on, his defense was he cleaned it himself and took the cleaning fee. No professional cleaner cleans here and definitely not sanitized to standards to protect you from other people’s germs! The main reason I wouldn’t stay here is because the host seems to live there when not in use. I know his doctors apt that were posted on the fridge and personal items all threw out the house. Seems to be his personal towels along with his personal hygiene products as well. With that being said you might get a scare when his family or friends come barging in the door yelling his name and looking for him (yes this happened). He will not budge on a discount or refund for any of this uncomfortable situation that we were stuck in for 2 days because we had no where else to go. The host also lives local so beware he might as well show up and join you on the couch. I own a cleaning business for STRs and this is unacceptable the way this STR is being run!! It honestly needs to be taken off this STR rentals. Oh and VRBO most definitely won’t help you in this case! BEWARE DONT stay here!!!!! Worst experience in my 15 years of renting and cleaning STRs!
