Y Beudy, Crymych - Three Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 7
Y Beudy is approached by a 1/2 mile farm track and is set beneath the Preseli Hills in North Pembrokeshire, two miles from the village of Crymych. Offering a comfortable base for exploring this wonderful area, this well-presented, spacious property is an excellent choice. Outside, you will find a patio with a table and chairs, a small lawn with flowerbeds and footpath access to the surrounding woodland. Cook up a storm on the BBQ and enjoy the wonderful views from the patio across the small valley.
The surrounding fields are grazed by a prize-winning herd of angora goats. This spectacular corner of Wales offers a diverse collection of beaches ranging from small coves enclosed by steep limestone cliffs to vast sandy expanses that sweep into the distance. Southwest Wales is a paradise for birdwatchers and wildlife lovers. With its wide variety of habitats, from upland moor to tidal estuary, the region hosts a plethora of wildlife, including grey seals, Manx shearwaters, bottlenose dolphins, and gannets.
Explore over 1000 kilometres of footpaths and bridleways that wind their way along rugged cliff tops, through wooded estuaries, and over craggy hills throughout Britain's only truly coastal national park. If you'd like to go a little faster, the area provides cycling opportunities for all levels of ability. West Wales also boasts an abundance of ruins and relics from a bygone age. These remnants, castles, mills, palaces, farms, churches, and cathedrals, as well as stone circles, earthen forts, roundhouses, and burial chambers, tell the story of life in Wales in an interesting and sometimes interactive manner.
For those seeking a more natural high, the Pembrokeshire coastline is known for its superb sea cliff climbing areas.
