Crow Canyon Country Club

This is an older property on the water. Multiple buildings somewhat connected. Check in was generally easy, but because we booked using Expedia at a discounted room rate, we were given the least desirable room next to the elevator machine room. We had to trudge all the way back to reception through a maze of buildings where we were offered a quieter room. There is virtually no soundproofing from the hallway. The carpeting appeared clean, but I would not suggest walking barefoot. The shower was strong and hot. The room was quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I was not expecting an additional daily fee of $45 to park our car!! So much for the discounted room charge. We were 5 minutes drive from the very fancy shops on 4th Street, and a 13 minute drive to the North Berkeley BART. Adequate for 1 night, but a bit of a tired hotel.

This property does not match the pictures at all! It is completely run down, air vents had mold and dirt pertruding out of the grate, the carpet was filthy and I had to wear my flip flops instead of bear feet. The hand towels had spots on them as if they weren't clean. It was a complete disappointment.
