Best Respite
My mother lives nearby, so it’s really convenient to have Barb’s rental so close. It’s perfect for me and I really enjoy having my own space with so much family staying at my mom’s house. This property is very quiet, comfortable and clean, it feels like my home away from home!

Happy return customer!
Wonderful,very clean, and private, with well stocked kitchen. I especially liked the Kurig coffee maker that was provided! We recommend this house to anyone, and it was less expensive than a Hotel!

Wonderful Respite
This is one of those properties that looks better than the pictures! So much attention to details that made our stay perfect. I've never stayed anywhere before where the Keurig coffee rack is stocked! Very comfortable and quiet. The owners are so personable and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Holiday stay
This is a great location. The yard was very well kept which made it inviting to sit outside and visit. The unit was beautiful, very clean, user friendly and private. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. We would love to stay again in the future.

What a wonderful home away from home!
Barb’s place is wonderful. Comfortable, roomy and sparkling clean! We stayed for two weeks and wanted for nothing. The kitchen is fully stocked making it easy to prepare meals as needed. The grounds and surrounding areas are very quiet and peaceful. Barb was very responsive to any questions. Hope to come back for another stay.

Great Retreat
Lots of space to hang out in. Owner was nice and left us a card/flowers at the beginning of our stay and communication was pretty quick. There was a bit of upstairs noise but it was not anything too obtrusive. Love the kitchen and amenities included!

Perfect stay in a great apartment!
This was our second time staying here and we will be back! It is spotless, cozy, well stocked, quiet, beautiful surroundings, close to Seattle and Rainier. The owners make it seamless by providing everything needed to settle in when you arrive. We highly recommend this VRBO!!!

Awesome generous owners, had a lovely weekend
We stayed at Barb's place and got absolutely snowed in (more than we expected). Barb and George shoveled our patio ASAP, offered to get us take out or groceries if our car was snowed in, and even let us stay an additional night when the roads were too slick to drive. The unit was very spacious and I loved the full kitchen - we baked a lot and cooked over the couple days we were there. I really enjoyed the creek next to their house and I had fun birdwatching in the mornings. Can't want to see the nature in the area next time we visit.

Wonderful Apartment near Seattle
My husband and I had a great stay for a long weekend at this apartment in the Covington area south east of Seattle. So many recreational activities in the area and just about 30-45 minutes from Seattle. The apartment was very clean, nicely decorated, spacious, and the kitchen was thoroughly stocked. George and Barb were very helpful and available if needed. The yard is beautiful. Very quiet and private. We will definitely be back—great place to stay and see our adult children in Seattle.

Best PNW retreat ever!!!!
We enjoyed our stay so much. The apartment was perfect in everyway possible. Barb and George were so helpful and giving. Awesome coffee George and Barb provided fruit and energy bars. Barb was an outstanding hostess. Quick to respond to any requests. Detailed check in information provided made getting there a breeze. This had to be the best stocked place we have stayed. Had all the kitchen and bath items you would need including basic spices. Loved the coffee bar. Would highly recommend this location.

Everything We Hoped For And More
We had a fantastic experience at Barb & George’s place. Everything was spotless. The beds and linens were wonderfully comfortable. Kitchen very well appointed. The grounds extensive & private. The owners were wonderful to deal with - very accommodating to our changing plans and responded to texts and emails in a very timely manner. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely book with Barb & George again.
