Costa Maya Port

This was great for our family of five. It was a perfect resort for non party goers. The only thung that was a but confusing was the dining/buffet part. For breakfast, we were looking for bacon but thought there was no bacon. Then found out 3rs day in, you need to ask for it. Also, during buffet, you can also prder from the menu. This whole time we thought there a surcharge if we ordered from the menu. The resort is also cashless. It's fine because we brought cash for tipping.

Beautiful property, good food, good activities

Weak drinks and a lack of activities forced us to take some excursions to have some fun. Wait staff and housekeepers were excellent but bartenders were not, even though they were getting tips! Drinks were watered down to cut costs. Food options are interesting with the ice cream shop closing daily at 5:00pm, a Starbucks shop that no one uses due to extra charges, no sandwich options past 5:00pm unless you use room service… the property is dated and showing its age. The pools were is dire need of water as the infinity pools were a foot under filled. Pool and beach chairs are limited so if you are not present before 9:00am, you won’t get a chair. The pool bar is very small and doesn’t open until 11:00am and closes by 6:00pm, so again, options are limited.
