「Herdade Do Touril is one of the nicest places we have stayed in our many travels around the world. The facilities are quite nice and well maintained. The property is like none other, surrounded by thousands of acres of farmland. It’s quiet, relaxing and one gets a sense of bring “away from it all” and yet there are miles of walking and biking trails along the ocean as well as through the farming areas. 「Lovely place to unwind and relax. Loved waking up to the sheep sounds, spending afternoons by the pool and enjoying the sunset in my balcony. Staff were lovely, accommodating and very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing get-away.」

「We went a little off-season and not many were there. The place is located in the countryside with lovely surroundings. The inital plan was to go into the little town of Cercal for dinner in elthe evening, but we changed our plans and stayed for dinner at Matinha instead. That was a good decision... the food was very nice and typical rustic traditional Portuguese food. Loved it. Everyone was super helpful and serviceminded. It was a great stay.」

「Monica and her staff are wonderful, the property is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is delicious and generous. For us, after 3.5 weeks of busy travel this was a perfect location to chill. We hung out during the day at the beaches, returned to shower and go back to town for dinner. It’s only 12 min to town/beach. Great place to stay, highly recommend!」

「Le mie aspettative per questo posto erano leggermente più alte ma si vede che è un posto che deve ancora strutturarsi. E' comunque molto piacevole e accogliente, solo la comodità dei letti e la pulizia lasciano un po a desiderare. Essendo una location aperta anche agli animali domestici ( e noi non ne abbiamo), non era molto piacevole trovare i peli di cani in giro per l'appartamento. Per il resto la pulizia era molto accurata」
