"As many other people's reviews, pictures do not do this vacation rental justice! Breathtaking views over the river, quiet, peaceful and secluded. Fishing is not too feasible, however there is a spot down the road with easy river access. Cabin had everything we needed. Diamond mining equipment was a plus, we went twice and was a fun experience for the family. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well laid out with all cooking tools, plenty of seating in the living room. TV is not smart, which some of the family members had a hard time with haha, but I loved it and we played games, sat around firepit, and enjoyed the wilderness sounds and fresh air. Would definitely recommend for both small and larger groups. Downtown area has limited food options, but the Telinga Restuarant was great food. The Dino Dig was fun for the little one. The locals are very kind, helpful, and friendly. Hosts are responsive, have a great "to do" guide, and clean cabin!!"

"This was our 5th time at Tranquil Ridge, and it was nothing short of magical. As always the house was spotless, and it's filled with just about anything you might need to feel right at home. We enjoy the star gazing at night at Tranquil Ridge, so we booked this trip for the peak of a meteor shower, and we were lucky enough to have a front row seat to the aurora borealis as an unexpected bonus! We were able to see it with the naked eye, with no light pollution, and it was simply breathtaking. The bird watching from the cabin and surrounding property is always top tier as well. If you're looking for a place to relax and unwind, there is no better spot. Ryan is the most responsive and wonderful host, and their cabin is a hidden gem. Can't wait to return again soon!"
