Can’t say enough great things about our stay at Hotel Menardi, already trying to figure out when to come back! Our room was clean with a comfortable bed and amazing shower. The hotel staff was SO kind and helpful recommending hikes in the area. We loved the location, about 20 min walk along the walking/biking path (converted railway) from the downtown area - we liked the separation, I was 23 weeks pregnant during the trip and the walk was not strenuous for me. We loved that we could set off on our hikes/bikes from the path directly behind the hotel every morning. Breakfast was excellent as well as dinner. Only thing was that the wifi was bad, but honestly it was nice to disconnect!

Very charming hotel up the road from all the hustle of the main shopping district. We enjoyed the breakfast and comfortable accomodations, however the street-facing rooms are quite loud with road traffic since there was no AC we had to keep the windows open, making it difficult for a solid sleep. Otherwise the property and staff were wonderful.

Great location: quiet but easy walk to downtown Cortina. Staff were helpful. Only problem was the bed was VERY soft and room was too warm at night.

Beautiful hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. So many neat wood carvings, antiques, great spaces for relaxing, nice bar, good kitchen. Room was clean, decor nice. Really love the place but lack of AC prevented restful nights. We opened the windows but the traffic noise was intense throughout the night. Our room was on the front of hotel right on the road. Cars, scooters and a fair number of semis traveling through disrupted our sleep. Really would have loved to give 5 stars but probably should have given 3.

Pleasant chalet style property along the main road the runs north out of town. The room was clean and spacious and included a small terrace. The staff were helpful. The breakfast included an extensive amount of pastries and other items (eggs, bacon…). The parking was tight/limited but it all worked out. WiFi was *mostly* reliable but you’re not going to get blazing bit rates. Overall, a good stay.

About a 20 minute walk from the Piazza di Roma, this location was a nice balance of convenience to the city center and quieter surroundings for relaxation. There is a nice walking/biking trail immediately behind the hotel and staff was helpful with early check in and luggage storage during my hike.

This was such a delightful retreat. We loved the history behind the inn and the family feel. The staff was helpful in finding hikes for us. The food for breakfast and dinner was delicious, and the service staff were very attentive. If you're looking for something modern and chique, this is not the place. We didn't want that, so this place was perfect.

We loved our stay at Hotel Menardi! The staff was all very friendly and I love that it is a family-owned small business. You definitely get the small town feel staying there. Good free breakfast and very reasonably priced at the bar and restaurant.

Breakfast was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the front desk in the evening provided great advice on hiking and weather conditions. The room itself needed to be updated; very old furnishings and the lighting was very poor and also not much room for relaxing in the room. Our room faced the back of the hotel which had little street noise, though the hallway doors were very loud with opening and closing. The bathroom overall was clean and seemed to be more recently updated, though it also needed better lighted. The shower/tub was high off the floor and may be difficult to enter for some. The location was perfect being close enough to walk to downtown and there was also a trail behind the hotel. There was ample parking behind the hotel with some covered parking.

Clean room, plenty of space. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice bar and lounge areas to have a drink or play cards/board games. Nice restaurant, decent breakfast. This was a good anchor point for 4 of our hiking days in the Dolomites.

The room was nice, the bathroom was great, and the staff were very courteous and helpful. There is a nice bar and restaurant on site so that was convenient. Be advised that this hotel is right next to the road so it could get loud. Let me qualify that I stayed during the Olympics so maybe it was busier than usual then. They also kept the lights on outside my 2nd floor window until late at night so if you're on that floor, bring a sleeping mask and some earplugs.

A hidden gem in Cortina. Just a little bit outside town centre (but walkable and there is also a ski bus). Comfortable, clean rooms, beautiful alpine finish, modern bathroom fittings. Great bar & restaurant. The food was top class. Nice wine selection, very good local wines to sample. Staff very helpful & friendly, gave us early breakfast the morning we were leaving. We loved this place & we hope to be back!
