We had a really disappointing experience with this rental, and unfortunately, I can’t recommend it.We spent over 2,000 on this trip—including 700 for this condo—specifically because of the advertised boat slip. We hauled our 21ft boat all the way from San Antonio and even rushed repairs just to have it ready. But when we arrived, we found the slip completely unusable. There’s a submerged 4x4 post cut below the waterline and covered in algae—it’s clearly been there a long time. No average-sized boat could use this slip safely, and yet it’s still being advertised as available.We never even received info about the boat ramp. On check-in day, I had to send a message just to get the code and basic details after 4pm.Inside the condo, the flooring was uneven throughout the hallway, which felt like a fall risk, especially for kids or older guests. There was also a strange, stuffy, unpleasant smell inside the unit that made it uncomfortable.What’s most frustrating is that the owner never took real responsibility for the boat slip issue—just gave a half-hearted apology and brushed it off like it wasn’t a big deal. For us, it was the whole reason we chose this place.If you’re looking for a place with a usable boat slip or a stress-free experience, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
