「This was our first time staying at Loews. We love Coronado, and San Diego in general, and live about an hour away so it’s always a nice getaway. This hotel is about 5 miles past hotel Del Coronado just across from Silver-strand Beach. It’s beautiful and quiet the electric bike rentals at the property made it very easy and reasonable to rent and “ride” into town. 「Conveniently located right next to Dog Beach. This hotel has a great old school OB vibe to it. The place is older but it"s well maintained and the rooms are clean. For being as near to the ocean as it is the price is fair. The staff are friendly and top notch. The food truck in the parking lot had excellent coffee and food. I highly recommend the Ocean Villa Inn.」

「No frills, great location and great price! We will definitely be back again. Improvements: the shower does not drain well. Since the shower stays wet, mildew is starting to form. 」

「I read other reviews that were not so good but we couldn’t have been happier! We had a king suite with ocean view and it didn’t disappoint! AC worked great! Cute decor. Comfy bed! Could see ocean from sitting at the kitchen counter enjoying coffee. Great location! Clean park across the street, little local bars and restaurants all over within walking distance. Easy parking. Will come back! 」

「I was pleasantly surprised by this property! It’s wholly welcoming with practical amenities. We came relatively unprepared to spend time at the beach, but was really grateful to be able to borrow beach chairs and umbrellas. Also jumped on the cruiser bike to explore the island. Facility is clean, reasonably priced, and warm. 100% will be back!」
