「My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...

「A precious lady, Gail, welcomed us to her Inn. She had a full house of 12 to serve as hostess for morning breakfast which was excellent! The second morning was delicious as well. Gail’s daughter was out of town for medical testing for the week, leaving her to carry the load of which she did wonderfully. Our room was clean and comfortable. 「This was a great place to stay for our visit to Acadia--much quieter & more peaceful than Bar Harbor. It's an older place that's been refurbished, but it's very clean. Unfortunately our room was next to the restaurant which stayed open late for a rowdy group, thus wasn't as quiet as we had hoped. But we would definitely stay here again.」

Highly recommended if you want simple, rustic lodging with comfortable accommodations (nice bed, everything needed for a compact kitchen to prepare meals, and nice picnic table for eating outdoors). 」

「The Inn is just a short drive out of Bar Harbor. It's a beautiful old building that is well kept. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfasts are outstanding and varied! Only thing to watch is if you are on the 3rd floor. There is no elevator and the stairs are very steep and narrow. If you cannot carry your luggage, this might be a problem for you. Otherwise, wonderful stay and wonderful property.」

「GREAT PLACE AND LOCATION if you want to be in the middle of things. Walk to everything. We stayed in a cottage and had privacy while still in the heart of town. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely stay there a rain.」
