Very clean, very peaceful. My family and I had the best time at Donnys place. We all cant wait to go back (it was hard to leave). Donny is the best host we have ever had on vacation, so nice and sweet. He was very attentive and knowledgeable about everything. His dog penut was just the cutest and sissy to. I loved it there and i will be telling everyone i know to visit. Thanks again Donny your the best!!!

Family vacation

This was our 2nd year we come here & it’s awesome, quiet, and the cabins are beautiful.. we hope to make this a yearly vacation here at Donnie’s place.

Great Riverfront Property

We had such a blast staying here! We wanted a property that was riverfront and would allow for us to party even when not floating down the river. Donny was great and responsive for anything we needed. He has a bus that can take you up river where you can float back down to the property. It was so nice to not have to worry about where we would park cars and drive to and from! The penthouse is so nice and perfect for our group! We would definitely recommend staying with Donny on his beautiful property!

Stay with Vacation Frio River

From before renting to after check-out, communication with Donny made things a breeze. I probably had a million questions, but Donny always answered them and never made me feel bad about it! Our rental was VERY clean (the cleanest I’ve ever had in ten years of renting in Concan) and located in a great area. The new pool addition for the guests staying with Donny was a nice added bonus. The outdoor pavilion provided many different pits and grills to choose from, along with an outdoor kitchen. Donny and his employees were all friendly and welcoming! We had no issues and would rent from Donny again.

Best place on frio!

Besides the awesome courtesy you shown by both the manager and the owner, The amazingly clean and well decorated rooms, The shuttle bus which can be used for pick ups and drop offs are floating, and the pool, I am not sure if there’s a better place to stay! You cannot go wrong here. Donny and his team are awesome, and they look to ensure that you have a great time. This isn’t necessarily needed with a beautiful spot in the perfect location on the Frio

Excellent location for family or couples

We had the best time! The room was spacious and clean. Being right on the water was perfect. Kat and Donny made sure we had everything we needed and felt like family! What a great experience!

Fun on the Frio

We always have a fun and relaxing time. The beds are comfy which is a big deal for my family. Donny is always a great host! The recently built outside kitchen/pavilion is great to prepare any size meal and a great place to hang out. We will definitely be back!

Great stay!

The property owner was so helpful all weekend. Renting tubes from him, and having him shuttle you upriver to float back to the house was so convenient. My family and I will definitely be back.

Our weekend getaway from the city was very tranquil staying at this location. this year was a nice change. property is very well maintained and the rooms are excellent. Being by the water was an added bonus to walk down to in the early morning

Incredible

Just as advertised. Rooms are excellent quality. Easy river access by walk or very short drive. Private river access allows for a peaceful relaxing trip with shade trees and picnic tables right on the river. Owner is always available on site and is very kind and friendly. Highly recommend this property if you are looking to vacation at a homey site without that Hotel disconnect. This is a vacation rental not a hotel so do remember your sheets and eating supplies. Gas grill and BBQ pits on site for outdoor cooking. Multiple housing options depending on your needs and length of stay. Just minutes out of Concan by road. Owner also offers shuttle service for his guests who wish to float the river. Enjoy your stay!
