Relax at our gorgeous 3-bedroom villa, only a 4km (5 mins drive or 40 mins walk) to central Cómpeta, an hour's drive to Malaga Airport & 30 30-minute' drive to the stunning beaches of Nerja & Caleta de Velez. Located in the foothills of the Sierra de Tejeda National Park with spectacular views from the terrace of the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea, the area has some of the best cycling, skiing and hiking in Spain. Enjoy live music, fiestas, tapas, bars & restaurants in the bustling market square & cobbled streets!

The villa is beautifully presented and decorated to a high standard with quality fixtures and fittings. The spacious property has three bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 6. It is less than a 10-minute drive or a 40-minute walk to central Cómpeta. It has excellent access down a concrete track and stunning countryside views, as well as down the valley to the Mediterranean Sea. The villa is superbly presented:

Outside, the covered terrace offers a beautiful space for relaxing and al-fresco dining surrounding the 8m x 5m (approx.) swimming pool with Roman steps. The villa is surrounded by a lovely garden of trees and plants, plenty of shade for sunbathing and a barbecue area. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms and lounge, which has just been newly serviced (Oct. 2022).

In the first bedroom, you will find a super king-size bed. In the next bedroom, twin beds can be joined to make a super king. The third bedroom contains two single beds. There are two bathrooms. The first bathroom has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower. The second en suite bathroom has a toilet, sink, walk-in shower, and bath. As a self-catering villa, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay. The modern American-style kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, hob, oven, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, freezer, and microwave.

*House Rules*:
Families only; no parties or groups under 25; check-in time is 4 p.m., and check-out time is 10 a.m. The property has free, accessible parking facilities. Pets and smoking are not permitted. For increased security, a surveillance camera is placed outside the building to actively monitor the driveway, ensuring safety for everyone.

*For day trips*:
The magnificent Picasso Museum in Malaga is one hour's drive; the Alhambra Palace in Granada is one of the oldest sites in Spain and is one and a half hours' drive; and Ronda's stunning deep gorge of Puente Nuevo is two hours' drive.

*Getting around*
From Malaga Airport (the nearest airport), the 68 km trip is easy and shouldn't take more than an hour. From the airport, head towards Velez Malaga along the A-7 motorway, and once you pass it, take the exit for A-7206 toward Algarrobo/N-3. Follow A-7206 to Cómpeta. You will drive through the village of Sayalonga on the way to Cómpeta. Follow signposts and GPS to the villa (all phone map apps will take you here correctly). You enter an (asphalt) road on the left-hand side, which is a little uneven but roadworthy, and drive down that road. The last 100 meters are on a new, fully concreted drive to the villa. You park your car in the private driveway. You have arrived! We will arrange for you to be met in central Cómpeta and taken to the villa. We recommend hiring a car as the villa is in the countryside, approximately a 5-minute drive from Cómpeta. There is a bus from Cómpeta to the coast and Malaga thrice daily.

*Other details to note*:
A welcome pack, linen, towels, and shower gel are all included to make your stay more enjoyable. There is a newly installed fast WIFI system; the pool is open from May until October. The dimensions (approx.) are 8m by 5m and 1.8m deep at the far end but shallow at the Roman steps. We have laid a new, fully concreted drive to the villa. The top of the track to the road is a little uneven but roadworthy.
