Loud environment

If you are planning to have a quiet relaxing night! This is not the place to stay. There is a bar nearby that has loud music until 2:00 am and dogs keep barking a lot.

No frills convenience

Conveniently located near a number of eateries. The room is basic, but clean. There's no A/C, but a fan kept it comfortable overnight. However, since the window needs to be open, there was no muffling the rather random and frequent fireworks throughout the night and in the early morning. There's a nice patio/gathering area, and a plethora of succulents!

A Very Nice Place to Stay in Comayagua

A convenient place to stay for those wishing to explore Comayagua. Patio de Joan is only a few blocks from the city center and the central park area. The couple who own Patio de Joan were both very nice people, the wife conversational in English. The room was nice and the outdoor sitting area pleasant. Each morning they offered coffee in the outdoor sitting area which was very nice. Prior reviewers have mentioned the noise from a nearby bar. That bar was on the same side of the street as Patio de Joan but at the other end of the block. So it wasn't like the sound of the music was next door. You could hear the music if you kept the window open at night. However the noise was not at a level that I found disturbing. I simply used ear plugs and "blue toothed" my headphones to "white noise" on my hand held device throughout the night.

Fantastic stay! Rina and Joan were gracious and helpful hosts. A clean and comfortable property right in the historic center of town. I enjoyed my time there, especially breakfast on the patio in the morning! Thank you for your hospitality

Excellent value for the price. The owners of the property are lovely, very friendly and helpful. Property has nice porch area and the room has everything you need. Good location. There is a bar a couple of doors down which was noisy at night but it didn’t bother us. Would stay again.

Lina at reception, and Joan, the owner, are friendly, generous and ready to go the extra mile for their guests... Lina called various taxi services to get me the best rate for a 2am trip to the airport, and Joan was up at 2am to see me safely off to the airport. May not have 5 star amenities, but was more than perfect for my short stay.

Service was great!! I was a late arrival and the sweet gentleman messaged me his number to call because the desk closed early. I had to leave early to catch the bus but he made sure i had breakfast before I left even though breakfast wasnt ready. The gentleman made sure i got a safe taxi to get to the bus terminal. Great service!

Clean guest house near noisy center

Good location, not very far from the bus station, while the city center. But at least on the night from Saturday to Sunday it is very noisy from the street from the nightclub and bar, I slept in earplugs. Also poor soundproofing inside the guest house itself. It is inconvenient that to exit or enter the guest house you need to find one of the owners, there is no key to the external door. Nearby you can find where to eat, there is a café and a food court. The room is not very large, but there is an ottoman, comfortable bed, bed linen, TV, fan, two windows. The room is clean. Stable Wi-Fi. The bathroom has hot water by heating in a shower head. Toilet paper. There is no towel, soap, shampoo, shower gel. In my opinion, given that the price per day is 29 usd, which is a lot by the standards of Central America, the usual amenities should be in the room.

Una muy buena opción de costo - beneficio. Por el precio es una muy buena elección. Algo a valorar es el sentido de servicio al cliente de los dueños, aún en horario extraordinario están pendientes de atender bien a los huéspedes, algo no tan común en otros hospedajes de Comayagua.
