We stayed in Schulenburg to see the painted churches on the way back from spring break in San Antonio. This hotel was excellent! The service was very friendly, the food on the breakfast buffet was great, the location was also great. The gym was surprisingly well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here

The room was musty, STANK!! The second floor hall smelled a little musty, so it was obvious that the musty smell from the rooms leaked into the hall. We were in what at first appeared to be a remodeled room. But the bathroom fixtures were forgotten. They were very old, mismatched in design and finish. The shower head didn't adjust to a regular flow any longer and was covered in so much hard water build up it was surprising that it worked. The TP roll holder was pitted and rusted. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.. Overall, this hotel is not worth the price. We have been traveling across the country visiting my children for the last few weeks and stayed in quite a few hotels, so we know what a good night should be.

It was a well-kept hotel. I was impressed with the interior, but it was a warm and beautifully designed space. The room had all the amenities you would want: very spacious, and comfortable beds. Suggestions: put blankets in the room; the bathtub needed cleaning around the drain, and breakfast left a lot to be desired. Please add food that isn’t processed; fresh fruits, steel oats, fresh breads.
