I was a little disappointed that I had to be the one to reach out for access information rather than the host/property manager simply providing the information, but not that big of a deal. More disappointing is the fact that I reached out on Thursday afternoon inquiring about parking. The place is a condo, and it wasn’t clear if there was a designated area located where we were supposed to park. We left on Sunday and I NEVER received a response. Not cool. The house had everything we needed, but it is an older home. That being said, both bedrooms are located upstairs, as is the bathroom, all of which have painted doors. If you are familiar with older homes, paint sticks to paint, so there is no quietly opening the doors without waking everyone else in the night. Also, there was no soap provided for the bathroom, so we had to make a special trip to the store before we could shower. The cleanliness was OK, but when looking for dishes, most were in the dishwasher. I was going to unload the dishes when I noticed the soap in the door had not been used. In other words, somebody filled the dishwasher, but never ran it.I also used the washer and dryer, which were located in the (musty) basement. They worked fine, but there was a large lint pile to the left of the drier, where apparently the lint trap is emptied after each use. Not quite the standard of cleanliness I had expected.That being said, the neighborhood was lovely, and felt very safe, and the location was great.
