Buffalo Valley Ranch
8/10 Good
"We stayed in one of the wagons, which was a unique experience...one we would do again.
Showers weren't the best, but it is a working ranch. Food at the cafe was pretty good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Whilst we were there it rained overnight, but we weren't worried about rain getting into the wagon, and in point of fact - it was so relaxing listening to the rain on the wagon's canopy.
Overall, we would recommend this unique experience!"
"Everything completely run down. Way over priced. Cabin full of mouse poop bugs & spiders. Asked them to clean it or give a refund. They refused a refund They said they would clean but instead moved furniture around, thew the rug on the front porch with mouse poop remaining in room and bathroom. Mouse poop in 1 of the beds, 2 different types of live spiders in each bed. Bugs flying around room and tons of dead ones in windows and floor. Curtins see through, can see in room with them shut with no issue at night. Zero privacy. Could hear the neighboring room as if they were in the same room. Felt completely scammed/ ripped off by this place. I live on a farm and understand bugs and rodents but this was way beyond a normal issue. Zero attention to detail and cleanliness. The door looked like it had been attached by a bear. Very disappointed wish they could of made it right gave a refund or discount or something. Only thing they have going for them is the view but still not worth it."
"Convenient location, cool decor & room had everything we needed- frig, microwave, coffee maker & coffee. We ran out of coffee cups but staff was quick to bring more. Free water in the shared fridge downstairs was a nice bonus. Highly recommended!!"
"We enjoyed the fire at the fire circle. The food was excellent made fresh every morning and the room was very clean. Peaceful and friendly guest and management"
