I have been several times before at the Bistro which is very good. This ttme we decided to book the hotel It is in the best part of Colonia, really a colonial city around the hotel. Inside the hotel is charming, modern and comfortable. I recommend it to anyone who decided coming to Colonia.

Charco is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of Colonia del Sacramento. The hotels is wonderful and the staff were amazing. If you're going to visit Sacramento then this is the place to stay.

The staff at Charco are all top shelf: kind, smart, and attentive! We felt so blessed from the moment we arrived. The food is excellent! You must eat in the restaurant: the poke bowl and the beet hummus are delicious. Our room was clean and quiet and so spacious. We loved the wee pool too. Top stars for this hotel.

Muito bom! Fomos acomodados num quarto externo ao hotel, o estilo e decoração clean, do jeito que gostamos. Atendimento cortes. Uma observação é que o café da manhã é a la carte, ou seja não tem buffet. Não que isso tenha sido ruim para nós, mas pode ser para alguns, pois depende da agilidade dos funcionários em servir.

O hotel é muito charmoso, os funcionários são muito amáveis, o café da manhã é delicioso e k quarto é bastante confortável. O único defeito grave é que a porta do quarto fica na passagem de acesso da rua ao hotel e a janela do quarto dá para a rua, sem os necessários isolamentos acústicos (que se esperam num hotel como esses), o que torna o quarto bem pouco silencioso… Uma pena…

Hotel charmoso no melhor ponto da cidade
O hotel é um charme de muito bom gosto e extremo comforto. Fica bem no centro antigo a poucos metros das atrações da cidade. Na chegada ganhamos duas taças de espumante de cortesia e as tomamos no bar, junto ao rio. O staff é muito atencioso e o quarto grande, aconchegante e de nom gosto. O hotel nao conta com estacionamento mas pudemos parar o carro bem em frente a nosso quarto.

This was an absolutely charming little hotel, with the stone wall in our room being the same stones you see on the outside. In the old, colonial section of town with cobblestone streets and remnants of the old city wall and draw-gate still in place. This hotel is right where you want to be in order to explore the historical area of the town. Only a $5 taxi ride from the ferry station, and no need for a rental car while here; you can walk everywhere. In the 5 countries we visited on this trip, this hotel was a highlight. And the Charco restaurant was also wonderful. Only complaint - the hotel was so quiet, we slept until 10:30 am. If you're from the U.S., do remember to bring your electrical converters. We had no USB plug-ins in our room (though the other couple we were with said there was one under their desk) and had to use a converter to plug in anything. Staff was also incredibly nice & helpful and spoke perfect English. What an amazingly quaint, beautiful place right on the river. I want to go back!

Hotel nice the bistro excellent and servers But considering first time guest and staying at their suite i was charged for a tea bag!!! They hunted me down upon checkout through whats up to pay for a tea bag…. Which i has to provide my cc info via email 😏😕 👎

O hotel é um encantador, localizado na área histórica de Colônia, bem próximo aos principais pontos turísticos e com muitas opções de restaurantes por perto. O café da manhã é servido no bistrô, que tem uma vista linda para o rio. Sobre o café da manhã, é servido a la carte, as opções são as mesmas para todos os dias, porém a comida é muito saborosa. O quarto é amplo, a cama é confortável e a limpeza é impecável. Os funcionários são gentis, cordiais e sempre dispostos a dar dicas e nos ajudar. Não tem estacionamento no local, mas é possível parar o carro na rua em frente ao hotel. Caso se hospede durante o final de semana, é preciso avisar que você se hospedará no hotel para que seu acesso com carro à rua seja liberado. Durante a semana, a circulação de carros é livre.
