In the district of Castel San Gimignano 13 km from the centre of San Gimignano, 16 km from the centre of Volterra, 40 km from the centre of Siena, on a slope, 60 km from the sea, in the countryside. Private: terraced garden, 2'000 m2 (fenced) with wildlife garden and trees, meadow, swimming pool (8 x 4 m, depth 110 - 140 cm, seasonal availability: 10.May. - 05.Oct.). Outdoor shower, terrace. In the house: washing machine. 100 m long motor access (via unmade road). Parking on the premises. Grocery 200 m, supermarket 10 km, bus stop 300 m, sandy beach "Cecina Mare" 60 km.

Beautiful and cosy furnishings: living/sleeping room with 1 double sofabed, dining table and satellite TV. 2 rooms, each room with 1 french bed (160 cm). 1 room with 1 french bed (160 cm). Exit to the garden. Kitchen (mini-oven, dishwasher, 4 gas rings, toaster, freezer, electric coffee machine) with small dining table. 2 showers/bidet/WC. Gas heating. Terrace, patio, porch. Terrace furniture, barbecue, deck chairs. Facilities: washing machine, iron, mosquito net, children's high chair, baby cot. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only. Lounge with billiard table and table football in the basement (on request and against payment). No mandatory extra charges to be paid on-site except for local tax. Magnifique maison dans la campagne Toscane

La maison est un havre de paix situé dans un village typique Toscan . Vous y trouverez tout le confort et les propriétaires seront aux petits soins pour vous. À notre arrivée ils nous ont offert de l’huile d’olive et du vin qu’ils produisent. La piscine est magnifique et bien agréable. Nous reviendrons

Super Ferienwohnung

Schlüsselübergabe funktionierte wie beschrieben. Lage der Ferienwohnung toll. Wunderschöner Blick in die Toskana. Man wurde jeden Morgen von Eidechsen auf der Mauer begrüßt. Abends gab es dann noch ein kleines Konzert von 2 Zwergohreulen. Für 4 Personen optimal, wegen der 2 Bäder.

Remote Tuscan Villa

Pros: Spacious home off the beaten path in Tuscany (about 15 minutes down windy roads from nearest supermarket). Beautiful views from the house. Close to San Gimignano and Volterra, which we explored while we were there. The owners met us and handed us keys and gifted us some homemade wine and olive oil. They also offered the use of herbs from their garden and outdoor grill, which was nice. Cons: I was a little surprised they asked for a large deposit in cash when we got there. The three bedrooms were spacious but the beds were very uncomfortable. We were there in winter and were surprised by the cost of the gas bill (90 euros for three nights). We had to wait for them to come over and check us out so they could check how much gas we used before we left. Also, you don't have use of the whole house - there is a large room that is locked off for the owners, and the downstairs game room is an extra cost per night. All in all, make sure you read the whole listing for the extra fees and bring extra blankets in winter so you don't have to use much heat!

Relaxation and Italian warmth.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful region of Italy. Superfriendly and warm-hearted proprietors. Fantastic pool and the gameroom (pooltable and kicker) is an excellent extra. We had a fantastic vacation!

Fantastisch

Wir hatten uns entschlossen zum 2. Mal ins Rusico Cavernoso zu fahren. Eingebettet in die wunderschöne Kulturlandschaft der Toscana ist das sehr schöne und saubere Haus ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungen. Der gepflegte Garten und der immer saubere Pool boten pure Entspannung. Höhepunkt der Woche waren die selbstgemachten Pizzen von Maria. Mit ihr und mit ihrem Mann Dimitrio verbrachten wir einen schönen Abend. Die beiden machen das gerne und für jeden Gast.

schöne und Ruhige Lage

Vermieter sind sehr nett, großzügige Räumlichkeiten. Küche Lieder etwas zu klein, keine Abstell Möglichkeiten. den Aufpreis für den Billardtisch und den Töggelikaste stand leider nicht im Beschrieb.

Very nice house well equipped. Very calm surrounding. Ideal location for Firenze/ Sienna/Volterra/San Gemignano etc... Great welcoming from the owner and his family . Will be back personnaly or via friends.
