Was a nice stay. What made it rememberable was the rustic feeling of this quaint inn. Nestled in small town Coleman, we stayed one night on our way to Banff, enroute from Waterton. The manager called us after checking out, which was a nice gesture. Would recommend and stay here again.

Overall, we had a very good stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable and well maintain. Some areas have been nicely renovated, while another section is a bit dated, but it was still clean and in good condition. The staff were friendly and helpful, definitely will stay here again.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a couple of times now. It’s an older property but is currently being renovated; make sure to stay in the renovated section for a better experience. It’s good value for the price.

This is a property with a lot of potential, which the new owners see, since it is under construction. The room we stayed in was newly completed and quite comfortable. The rest of the property is accommodating to people staying the night. The shared kitchen with laundry facilities was a nice bonus.

Had a nice stay at the Grand Union. Don't expect a fancy stay. But new management is renovating and wish them all the best. The bed was comfy, shower worked well, TV, fridge, microwave, spacious room. Could've been cleaner! And a bit messy, either due to age or messy renovations. Price was decent, hopefully can stay that way. Cool, old, historic building. Creeky hallways! Staff were super nice and helpful!

Probably the worst smell of my life. We left the moment we entered the room. The bugs were everywhere. Bathroom was old and not well maintained. I’d recommend not falling for the reviews on Google as it’s for the tavern. Save yourselves and pay a little more for a better hotel. Never again!
