Come and escape to the country for a peaceful and relaxing getaway from city life. Situated on 28 acres, enjoy soaring trees and rolling hills of the Sam Houston National Forest Area. Perfect setting for family reunions done right! Want to gather but have your personal space? Come and enjoy nature and be together. Situated on 28 acres, enjoy soaring trees and rolling hills of the Sam Houston National Forest area. Three Restored 1920's farmhouse offers 3 different properties; Loblolly 4 bed/3baths, Magnolia 3 bed/2 baths and Spicewood 2 bed/2 full bathrooms with a loft (that can sleep 6). All 3 properties have their own kitchen and living spaces. Lots of outdoor space to explore. On the property you will find Walking paths, a dry creek, sun sets, indoor games, ladder ball, football, soccer, horseshoes, zip line, ping pong, fire pit, bird watching, exploring and so much more. Watch the sun rise or set on the large porch, endless possibilities to recharge.

A gorgeous get away!!!
Wonderful gorgeous property. Plenty of room for large groups. The host is friendly and helpful. We locked our keys in our truck and could not be out at 11. The host allowed us to stay until help arrived. Very clean and fully stocked. Beautiful sitting area and view from the back porch. Dogs are welcomed. We would highly recommend. The road is a little rough to the place so if you could drive a truck or lifted vehicle or just go slow it would be advised. I will be back to visit.

Relaxing stay
This is a large property with plenty of bed space for guests. The house was clean, the air conditioning was plentiful, and the kitchen was well stocked with the basics for cooking. There are two very friendly dogs at the property and outdoor space for relaxing if wanted. I would happily stay here again.

Great place for couples or families
Very clean, comfortable and well outfitted. We hosted 27 family members (age 4 months to 94) and had plenty of room to eat, visit and entertain the children. We would definitely stay here again. Hosts were immediately responsive to any question I had.

Beautiful place.
Great for beauty and solitude - also for family gatherings. However, due to the location, it can be a little challenging if you need to be in Livingston or other cities.

Family Friendly
The home was beautiful and very spacious. Our stay was relaxing and comfortably fit our family of 10 people and 4 dogs. We especially loved sitting around the campfire away from everything. It was definitely a nice getaway from the city and we loved that we were able to celebrate our Christmas gathering here. Thank you!

Lovely Xmas stay
This was a wonderful trip for us. The house is beautiful, spacious with nice porch area to relax in. The only thing we were surprised by was the neighborhood dogs. There are 3 that are roaming on the property. For me this was an issue as my dogs are not friendly with all other dogs but after a couple of days they adjusted. One dog stayed on the porch the whole stay. They are very sweet dogs but the owner needs to make future renters aware of this as not all dogs are "dog friendly" and not all renters like dogs. The only other issue was that from the site description I thought we would be alone on property but in actuality there are 3 houses on the property and 1 of the other houses was occupied as well. It wasn't a big issue for our group but I think this should have been disclosed in the description of property.
