Lovely room. Very clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast which is left in small fridge in room was very good. Muesli, thick yogurt and fruit compote, plus cake and juices, plus tea and proper coffee. We dined in the restaurant which was exceptional.

Quick and friendly check-in. Bedroom clean and comfortable. Nice bar with good selection of drinks. Delicious food at dinner. Only disappointment was breakfast - small pot of yoghurt or muesli with fruit with nowhere really to sit and eat.

Could be good but.................................
Comfortable, clean room (on day 1) with a good shower but usually, even if I'm staying more than one night, the room is given a visit during the day, the choice of clean towels or not is given and any dirty cups are replaced. Not so here. The room had a nice large TV and good WIFI. I spent 2 nights there and the 2 evening meals I had were excellent but there wasn't a huge choice beyond those. The staff were pleasant and attentive but a lot of pub noise filtered up through to my room directly above and was a bit obtrusive. However, the biggest let-down was the very disappointing "free continental breakfast", delivered outside my room in a bag the evening before. A bowl of Muesli, yogurt, fruit juice, fruit and a small cake, with no alternatives or top-ups offered is hardly enough for the hard day's graft ahead and due to the lack of a room cleaning service, the day's dirty breakfast things and bag were still there when I returned from work for the second night. I see this as a missed opportunity to be a great little place to stay. Clean the room each day and offer a proper breakfast as an alternative to the continental, even if there is a charge for it.
