Positives: Mostly Friendly Staff. Reasonable spa facilities.
Negatives: No lifts (although only 2 floors) and this was not made known. No air-conditioning but there is a fan system.
Awake at 4am writing this as can't sleep due to ultra heavy duvet and no way to cool down.
Possible training problem as there were issues with charging bills to the room (especially with Expedia customers) which not all customer facing staff appear to be aware off.
This lead to unpleasant situations of being chased down for payments after being told all was okay and being made to feel like some petty criminals - even while still staying at the establishment.
I'm trying not to be harsh as clearly there is a lot of emphasis made on customer service, but it did seem like ours was not an isolated issue and really put a damper on the whole weekend.
Overall, minus our unpleasant episode, given the price point and area, and now you know about the lift and Aircon situation, I would say it's value for money if you decide to try it out.
