The cottage is perfectly located: 1 minute from the beautiful park, 3 minutes from the High street where shops, restaurants, pubs and transportation can be found and situated in a very quiet street. The price is very good for the quality of the accommodation. The cottage is big and functional. The stairs are a little steep and narrow but they lead to two beautiful bedrooms, one of which is en suite. I needed to stay one extra night and the owner did everything to facilitate my change of plans. I have stayed many times in Colchester in different locations and houses/flats and this is definitely the best place I have ever stayed in.
