It was a nice condo great location and the beach was the best. We saw several spacex launches. The condo had all the necessary and comfortable beach chairs, umbrella and towels. The one unfortunate exception was the large construction project going up almost directly to our condo was quite noisy especially early morning hours.

Hot tub and pool were wonderful, nice and warm. Our only complaint is that they were closed when the weather got cool.

Cleanliness comments

A persistent issue with small insects, primarily in the kitchen, which appear to be an issue at this facility. The showers had a great deal of nasty black sludge/gunk, throughout the sliding door tracks, and frame.

The condo was very nice. The host was easy to reach and helpful when we had trouble with one of the tvs. We liked the view especially when there were space launches. The pool was good but lots of restrictions. We found many great places to eat nearby. We definitely hope to come back!

Beachfront delight

We really enjoyed the large condo with all of the necessities needed for a family at the beach. I especially loved the balcony that has a wonderful view of the beach and ocean.

Close to good.

The property was as described. However, there was no mention of the demolition of the next door property, which was ongoing all day - everyday. Quite noisy to say the least. A “ heads up “ would have been nice. The other small complaint, the linens were clean, but past worn out. The re decorating was very nice.

Nice beach getaway

The condo is very nice. Owner thought of every little detail, provides cleaning supplies, beach toys and boards, linens, towels, fully stocked kitchen. Always replied right away to my questions. Place could use an upgrade but was very clean so is not a real issue. The only issue I had was the construction that was going on during the day, but the beach is right there so that was no big deal either. Overall I highly recommend, plenty of space for the family to spread out and relax!

Condo still under construction

Booked this place for the balcony overlooking the water- only to find that the balcony and bedroom window were under construction. Very unsettling to see a huge danger sign on the slider in the living room- overlooking rubble of buildings that were obviously hit by a hurricane and all outdoor furniture thrown in a pile on the balcony. Woke up to find workers outside the bedroom window- working on the crumbling cement. Talk about feeling unsafe- and owner took almost 48 hrs to respond to our concern as none of this was advertised in our listing, transparency is not something that should be optional. Besides the structural integrity of the building, there was black mold all over the showers and the kids bathroom shower did not drain, leaving them in a puddle of water. Also don’t expect any basics for cooking- many cooking supplies were cracked or missing. Beach and pool is locked up like Fort Knox- keys needed for everything back and forth. Don’t waste your time going to Florida and expect to enjoy yourself here- it is unsafe and unacceptable. Never been so disappointed in a Vrbo.

Excellent place to stay!

Check in was easy and communication with Keith Yoshino was great! The balcony was being worked on all week(which was loud and annoying) but Keith was quick to respond and gave us some money back to help offset our trouble. Room was clean and spacious and close to everything. We are looking forward to staying again!

Great Condo stay 12/1-12/4

My adult daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this Condo. It was clean, and had everything we needed; well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, (we did buy two beach towels), as well as a great balcony view of the ocean, and cruise ships. We ate our breakfast each morning sitting on the balcony's comfy furniture, looking at the gorgeous view. Also easy access to the private beach. Keith was quick to respond to questions and provided easy check in and check out instructions. Already planning another early spring trip. Thanks Keith, for use of your beautiful condo!

Beach people!!

We like the beach and it was close and easy to get too. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the satellites go up. . The condo is dated but clean and we would rent again.

Great location with views

We had a great stay. The location is great with private beach access. We had a view of the ocean and if there happens to be a launch during your stay, this would be an amazing viewing area off the balcony. Everything was very clean and convenient. The available beach chairs and coolers were extremely handy since we travelled by plane and weren’t able to bring anything like that. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing trip

If I could give it more stars I would. If your looking for high end upscale hustle and bustle this place is not for you, but if you like us and just wanna escape definitely book this place. It's very quiet, and low profile. We live in Florida so this was just a weekend trip for us just to get away for the weekend. Yes its more a 50's Era interior but everything still works. Overall it was just what we needed. Beach access, the balcony is ocean view so your on the side of the building but still see a good amount of the ocean. You get to see cruise ships come in and out and a great spot for when rockets launch and Canaveral cause you can see the island from the balcony. Your also far enough away from all the hype of Ron Jon and the main road coming in. Totally would rent again if we plan another trip this way. (Also not sure if allowed but if your looking for something to do while your here me and my mom did fin expeditions kayak tours its only 5 minutes down the road and they have amazing people for tour guides definitely Check them out!)

Our Vacation

We enjoyed our stay! The location was great! The accommodations were good. The bathrooms and kitchen could really use some fixing up, but otherwise, it was clean and comfortable.

Communication with property manager was excellent! Replies were timely and thorough.

From the moment entering the condo we felt at home with all our needs available to enjoy our stay. Having a view of the beach and easy access to entering the beach was truly a delight! Sand Castles is absolutely the place to stay!

Condo - beach

It was on the beach. Very good! Only thing I had a problem locking the door, it has combo lock on the outside of the door. I couldn’t it to stay with with combo lock. I had to leave the keys on the kitchen counter & combo lock. I left around 11:00. The maid was due for entry inside the condo. I didn’t know if the maid had a key so I left the door unlocked.
