As of early 2019, you must pass some rough dirt roads to get to Cochamo, no matter which direction you come from. I was expecting slightly better roads, but maybe when some of the construction is finished.

Great Location/Very Comfortable Stay
The Lodge/B&B is very well run by a semi-retired couple. Our room was small but there are 2 comfortable common spaces for guests.Breakfast was the best I have had in Chile as it includes homemade breads and jams and fresh juice.
