「The building is older but don't let it fool you. A quaint 60's era motel that is remodeled and up to date inside with the outside feel of a 1960s mom and pop motel. This is going to be my permanent stop when visiting Norfolk. Nick and his wife are great. The Bay Inn is a family run business and you're treated like family when you stay here. Nick let me know if there were any problems on the property just let him know and he would take care of it. But I never had any problems. We stayed 5 days...

「This was probably one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, that drybar shampoo, condition and body wash was FIRE, the bed was super comfy, the water pressure was amazing and the room was spacious! Staff was super nice as well!」

The room was quiet, the balcony overlooked the pond, it was a dreamy. The room was spotless, the bathroom was spotless. It was perfect for this mama who needed a few days of peace and quiet.」

「Overall, clean facility, helpful staff and a great location! It was 2 blocks from the beach, there was a Harris Teeter directly behind the inn, plenty of restaurants within walking distance and they were very pet friendly!! They even had poop bags available in multiple locations around the premises.」
