"This hotel is in a great location for tourist attractions. Everything was a short ride on the trams and the nearest stop is only a few minutes walk (Confluences museum stop). The room I stayed in was closest to the river. Other reviews say the train lines kept them awake, I only noticed this once, but never loud enough to wake me. The only downside is that the furniture, decor and linen were a bit worn. A bath mat and towel were ripped with holes and the sheets were thin and slightly fraying. The water temperature in the shower kept changing, but only slightly. Also the breakfast offering was slim; I'd recommend giving it a miss, not worth the money in my opinion. I paid for the breakfast but didn't eat anything and even got hassled for having a specialised coffee and ended up paying an extra €5. Not much I know, but reception said they were included, and considering the restaurant staff checked me in at breakfast and saw I wasn't eating, you'd think they'd been more accommodating and not hassled me."

"This is a really basic hotel. It is perfectly fine for a single person. I found the front desk staff efficient but not particularly friendly or helpful. You get a bed, a shower, and a toilet. Everything is modern and clean, but amenities are limited, from something as simple as the combo shampoo and body wash, to no drawers to put things away. The breakfast, which is not included but it seems everyone partakes, is self serve, but great variety. They have a buffet dinner as well that is plentiful and surprisingly fresh and good. Other than a restaurant, there are really no other amenities. The location is central to the Part Diuex train station, so it's covenent for arrival to Lyon, and the noise from there is minimal. However it is next to a park where there are people "hanging out" all day long, sometimes noisily. It should be noted that the coolest parts of Lyon are at east a 20-30 minute walk or bus ride away. Easy to get there, but not out the door. I loved Lyon; there was a lot to do. I would stay somewhere more central next time."

"Bedroom with small kitchenette area. Reasonably equipped for those staying 3 or 4 days and not wanting to eat out every day. They have a breakfast buffet for an extra cost, which we did not use. Beds very comfortable. A bit outside the old town and tourist area…..would need to take public transit, which is right in front…..but then the cost of accommodation is lower than that if you are right downtown in the prime area."

La partie restauration est vraiment très bien, assuré par un personnel particulièrement sympathique, et constitue clairement le point fort de l’hôtel. En revanche, le spa laisse à désirer : propreté très moyenne, hammam hors service sans que l’équipe ne m’en informe, et un accueil peu agréable — on a presque l’impression de déranger lorsqu’on demande une serviette, d’autant plus qu’aucun peignoir n’était disponible ni au spa et ni dans la chambre. Au final, l’hôtel reste convenable, mais la prestation globale manque de qualité autant dans les chambres que pour les équipements annexes, à l’exception du restaurant qui se démarque nettement."

"our room didn’t have fridge, phone, coffeemaker, safe, microwave, cups, water or even a box of tissue, absolutely nothing! Only one single ugly picture and a tiny TV set were hung on the walls. I have never seen such an empty and dirty hotel room in my entire life, even in the third world! "
