"We arrived late due to travel (close to midnight and i had called during the day to let the staff know.) Upon arrival to the room, we were first met with a candy wrapper on the counter. Then my wife went in the bathroom and smelled something. It was a mildewy shower curtain. Upon checking that out, she found all kinds of hair in the shower tub. We were very grossed out and unhappy but being it was midnight and we just needed to get our kids to sleep, we dealt with it. The next morning when we left, I was wearing a Michigan State basketball shirt. The manager or worker at the front desk greeted me with a "Go Blue!" Upon seeing my t-shirt. This is on par with having greated a UT fan with a "Roll Tide" or "Go Cats." I said nothing and I'm not offended by it. But it did strike me that the front desk of a hotel/hospitality eatablishment might not want to make it a habit of intenionally saying things that might really anger their guests."

"I had a three night stay me and my son did housekeeping would not leave us clean towels, even though we left our dirty ones outside the door. "

"Thought it was a nice place didn't really pay much attention until we started to leave this morning looked under the bed found crackers paper and other trash, opened the closet found a washcloth that had been used and hung from the coat hanger, a empty target bag an empty bag from a local market, dirty sheets. Dishes in dishwasher so we ran it before we left. Oh and stains on the comforter. Wish I had looked last night "

"The rooms were clean and spacious. Good price for a place to sleep. Breakfast was good but there were too many people at 7:20am so things were pretty picked over and there was no coffee so that was a bummer."

"Cabin was very clean and abundantly supplied. The deck was what drew me to renting this cabin and it did not disappoint. The deck had rocking chairs, a swing, hottub and right over it, a very nice large creek….. it was wonderful!!! I will definitely be back "

Off the beaten path a bit like we wanted and so very peaceful. All the little details in the cabin were a nice touch, and it had many essentials in case you forgot anything. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very clean and cozy cabin. Downtown Blue Ridge is about 25 min away and we really enjoyed Harvest on Main, Blue Ridge Creamery and the Twisted Tomato. There are plenty of shops for home goods, mountain and fishing outfitters, and souvenir gift shops."
