We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful and tasteful renovated hotel. Rooms were very clean and the kitchenette is well stocked to prepare a hot meal. Breakfast was huge. Liked the free coffee and tea in the common area. That area was spotless clean.

The room was clean and the hotel was quiet. The recent renovations are beautiful and made the experience great. Can’t wait until the restaurant is also renovated but the food was quick, delicious and the servings sizes were huge!! We asked for a late check in and it was fantastic.

The property turned out okay in the end but when booking this property the hotel information said rooms where renovated in May of 2026. The front desk gave us a room on the second floor: when we went in the room it smelled like smoke, the rug was filthy, the bench for your suitcase was so dirty. The tub was dirty and had a pink color around the drain. Which I have been told is not good for you. Overall it looked horrible. We call the front desk and inquired if this was a renovated room and was told no. We said it said on the site that it was renovated in May of 2026, or we wouldn’t have stayed there. The front desk was not very friendly but with some discussion she moved us to a renovated room. But she did not seem happy to do it. The renovated room was very clean and very nice. The restaurant on site was okay, but could use a face lift. We didn’t eat breakfast there. I wondered if because we booked through Expedia, we were given the unrenovated room initially.

We stayed here instead of Grande Prairie since it was close to the hwy for easy departure to Dawson Creek. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The only down fall is food options however there still a small variety of options such as fast food options just up the road including McDonalds.

Renovated rooms were really nice, outside of the building is a little rough still but they did tell me they are in the middle of renovations (so I over looked that) all and all, I was happy with my stay there.
