The hotel was truly amazing, featuring very nice accommodations and staff who were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The only drawback was the breakfast, but I suspect they might still be refining it since they were finishing the season. The people working there were exceptionally friendly, and the hotel's swimming pool and buildings were wonderful. I highly recommend this place.

Great small hotel with a stupendous pool. 5 minutes from the local town. Fine dining options although if you have a family problem need some other cheaper options in the town itself.

Great location among the olive groves just outside Cisternino. Short drives to the local tourist hotspots in Valle d’Itria. Very nice and extensive property. Excellent restaurant. Rooms are a bit sparse.

On arrival no one advised regarding an issue with the swimming pool. We were shocked to go to it and find the pool bright green in colour. We enquired at reception and were advised the pool was being tested routinely and it was safe for guests to use. Staff advised it had been like that for 6 days and was due to grass cuttings blowing into the pool. We did not use the pool as we had safety concerns. The next day I asked to speak to the hotel Director regarding my concerns but he was not on site and reception staff did not know when he would visit next. I asked if the hotel had informed the ASL (local health authority) of the bright green pool issue and the fact that it was open for use but I did not receive an answer. I suggested the pool needed to be closed for guest safety, a notice informing guests of the issue and further testing for bacteria. Within an hour my suggestions were implemented and they starting to drain the pool. I never did get to use the pool during my 4 day stay and I never did get to speak to the Hotel Director about the issue. The hotel itself is in a beautiful setting and the guest facing staff extremely pleasant. Actions by Hotel Management in responding to the bright green pool issue was not to my personal standard as in my view guest safety is their highest priority. The trip was spoiled not so much by the lack of use of the swimming pool (mistakes do happen) but the response to the issue and lack of availability to Hotel Management.

Lovely spacious masseria in well kept and well laid out gardens. Bedroom was very nice with huge bed and fine bed linen and a massive bath in the corner! Dining room very attractive and the breakfast buffet looked fantastic. Loved the beautiful fruit platter and the focaccia was delicious. We only had 3 nights and I’d definitely recommend this place and would like to come back for longer. If I had any complaint it was that the pool was quite cold but overall a lovely place

Villa Cenci was a jewel in the midst of Puglia ,

Our experience was a very good one and the Villa is well placed ...so close to all the main places to visit . the staff were very attentive and made us feel well looked after . We will definitely give our thumbs up and advise our friend to stay there .

Great end to trip to Puglia

Great hotel. Their chef/cook is very talented. Early in the season but the last night we were treated to our own private dinner in front of their stone fireplace in the main house. Our host for the night, Vito, exemplified how welcoming are the Pugliese Hope I got the Italian right. Loved my afternoon run around the parameters of the masseria. Olive orchards, beautiful country homes, it's a run I won't forget. The owner is always present...in the best way possible. I wish Hardy, his Golden Retriever his best remaining time as he's an old, beautiful boy.

simply perfect Masseria

I truly enjoyed my stay at Villa Cenci. The superior rooms are quite large and tastefully furnished. The dining room is just beautiful in its puristic design as well as the lounge and other common areas. Lots of little tastful details everywhere in the masseria. The garden is very large and as a highlight the big swimmingpool. the service at breakfast and dinner is friendly and perfect. A daily hightlight was the superb breakfast buffet. Great choice of fruits, juices, cakes, breads, cold cuts etc. Villa Cenci is located just outside Cisterino in the middle of fields. The only sounds one can hear are the birds. Perfect to relax. From this great location it is easy to explore the surrounding area and the highlights of Apulia like Ostuni, Alberobello etc. I stayed for 4 nights and went back to Villa Cenci for another 2 nights as I felt this Masseria was just perfect in all respects.

hoher Standard und hoher Preis

Das Einfahrtschild zur Villa könnte etwas rechtzeitiger aufgestellt sein, man fährt vorbei und muß umkehren. Vom Ambiente und vom Standard sehr empfehlendswert, liegt ideal zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung, ein Domizil, fern vom Straßenlärm.
