I really enjoyed my four-night stay at the Bernardazzi Hotel and Spa in Chișinău. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the hotel offered great value for money. I used the spa facilities several times and also booked a massage, which was excellent and very relaxing. Overall, a comfortable and affordable stay, and I would happily stay here again.

Decent hotel with friendly staff.

The staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and the rooms were as expected. Also a central and convenient location Only downside: The housekeeping was a bit sloppy, not really tidying properly and sometimes taking towels but not putting new ones.

Long weekend in Chisinau!

The hotel has a little more than average standard! The reception area looks nice with a big light crown and old Mercedes displayed at the floor! They have a small unmanned bar area near the car. You must make a request at the reception if you want to buy something! The hotel is smaller with spa area witch I never used! The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, good Wi-Fi and air-conditioning! Bathroom comfortable but unpractical with no door for the shower cabin! The breakfast is average and it depends how good on how early you show up! I can recommend to stay here!

The manager, Michael, will go out of his way to ensure you have everything and anything, no matter what you need. He is a manager that every hotel needs. If you are in the area, this is your hotel. Not what I expected

I had a pretty tough experience for multiple reasons. I chose this hotel because of the spa, pool and sauna. So I wanted to come and rest in a nice environment during these cold winter times. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that sauna and pool is a paid service (70 eur for 3h which is crazy expensive). I never had to pay for pool and sauna in any hotel I have stayed (Moscow, St. Pete, Dnipro, Odessa, Riga, Jurmala, Prague and more). After all, this is not a sepcial treatment or a massage that we are talking about. Moreover, I was told that sauna and pool is booked every day except from 3am to 6am. Hotel's manager was kind enough to offer me a free hour from 3am to 4am and since I was tired it was impossible for me to stay awake until 3am at night so I rejected that option. The next day I found out the reason why the spa is booked all throughout the day. It's because if they book it for you then you are the only person who will use it during those hours and there will be nobody else inside. Anyway, I did not get what I came from and I also skipped the breakfast during all 3 days of stay. Breakfast is served from 7am till 10am. 2 bottles of still water were given to me daily which was fine.The room was not bad, the bedding was especially good. I slept very well. The temperature inside the room was ok. Maybe this hotel works for people who are ready to pay and book spa in advance. But for me this was unacceptable and very surprising. So it did not work out as I expected.

Great place to stay!

Our family stayed at the Bernardazi Grand when we went to Moldova for our sons wedding. Will definitely stay there when we go back to visit. Very nice accommodations, super friendly staff, and enjoyed the free breakfast. And I love when hotels provide comfy bathrobes!

We loved how approachable and friendly the staff was! We only stayed one night but we felt truly welcome at the property. They accommodated every request we had. Mikhail personally took care of us and made our stay at the hotel very comfortable. I would definitely stay at BGH again! I am very thankful to the staff of the hotel for such a pleasant experience in Chisinau!

I wouldn't stay there again. We had a last minute flight cancellation and arrived a day late, there was no willingness from the hotel to help us cancel the booking even though we stayed there 2 more nights. I understand I had to go through Expedia but in the end of the day it was a hotel who had the power to provide a solution which they didn't. They didn't even allow us to move breakfast which was prepaid for the first night. And to use the pool and spa area you have to pay additionally and it isn't included for hotel guests. Definitely not worth €80 a night.

Check-in was great and the overall stay was fine. The lady at the checkin was very nice, but no English. The breakfast experience was great. Food was fresh and delicious. Service was very nice. Checkout was terrible. The girl wanted to charge us for the minibar. Expedia shows minibar included, what a hell. The website shows staff speaks English, they didn’t speak English nor Romanian at the checkout. We are coming back to the city but not in this hotel.
