Chilford Hall Vineyard

I booked to stay one night with a chance I might need a second night. Room was a separate wooden chalet. Door very difficult to open. Small bathroom with shower a bit difficult to access unless you have long legs. Mirror near toilet not easy to see. Glad I didn’t need to make up. Breakfast was a bag with croissant and porridge to mix yourself and an apple. Jam, butter orange juice also provided but juice not very nice and make your own coffee from Nescafé in room. I wasn’t expecting the ritz but went to Tesco for breakfast. Dinner service a tad slow but I think they had problems. Fish and chips very well done so a bit overcooked. Just booked in for same price elsewhere, a world of difference.

Furnishings were old English and the bath hardware was first class. The bed was comfortable
