Sonjaki, Thank you for your review. Our deposit requirements are mentioned on the site where you made your reservation. So we're not sure why you weren't aware of it. When we upgraded you to the suite we never heard from you. If there was still an issue with the room I wish you had said something as we like to correct things as quickly as possible. We also are aware you were in a group of two other rooms and those guests were nice enough let us know their experience was positive. We do hope you come back again and let us show you a greater experience than you had.

Thanks for letting us know Christina. I believe during your stay the City of Chicago's Fire Department's Helicopter was looking for someone who had fallen into Lake Michigan. The waves can take someone quite far. We have a stairway and elevator in the garage but they are secured at night but the stairway can be accessed via a guest room card. The other stairway and elevator is right in front of the Front Desk and we do check people late at night. The guests that stayed in your room before your stay and after were quite happy with their experience. We did send an inspector to your room regarding the bugs and no sign of them at all. Most people do like our breakfast area and our breakfast attendant as you mentioned we have so many good reviews.
