It was a convenient cozy place to stay. Great for visiting Cherokee area while being able to stay in a rural setting instead of a hotel. Loved the creek that flowed past the property. Kids had a blast playing in it. While it has some wear and tear, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay

Everything was great.One issue with water when hot tub kicks on no water inside cabin. Other than that is was a great experience. Decent size yard for kiddos to run an play. Will most definitely rent again!

Cute but dirty

Road going to it is a bit rough and the place was pretty dirty. From the layers of dust on the ceiling fans to the sticky carpets. Enjoyed for our little time but would not book again

We loved the location. Driveway was just as described, all wheel drive had no problem getting up. Walk down to creek was maintained fine. While the rocks that people have written on was fun to read,i think they need a better place to sit. You can't get to the rail to look toward the creek because of so many rocks across 90% of the porch. On to the inside. Beds super comfortable. Kitchen wasn't really clean but usable. We cleaned it well. Biggest issue, the water, it shuts off in about 5 mins While you are in the shower, this would have been good info to have. The water was brown, we had to use bottle water for everything. I get rustic and can do rustic if i need to or want to but to have to do it without knowing I'm going to have to, at a place I'm paying for is not ok. We may have still rented this place but now we will avoid renting any place this group represents due to not being forth coming with what you are renting.

Mom and daughter getaway

This property is amazing!! We loved how close it was to everything but still private. The house had everything we needed and we even added a rock to the guest rocks they had on the porch. Great getaway for me and my mom. Will definitely be coming back!! I will add I think this is a great place for kids!! Right by the stream and big area to play.

Convenient and Cozy

We chose this property for its location and price point. It is not a luxurious place, but it is not claiming to be. We found it perfectly suitable for our needs. It was clean and quiet. The gas wall heater and gas logs quickly warmed up the place. The location near the stream was lovely, and it was conveniently located to our planned visits to Bryson City, Cherokee, and Sylva. The hot tub worked as described. Linens were clean and adequate. It's true the driveway is a bit steep and narrow, but we made it just fine in our little Honda Civic. I would definitely choose this place again, and I found it to be a great value.

Serene and magical
