Very Cozy Cabin with a lot of charm. Wrap-around porch surrounds the cabin with rocking chairs to enjoy the beautiful view and the rushing creek below. This cozy cabin will be your home away from home. A spiral staircase takes you to the loft bedroom where the large window above the bed is your headboard and feel as though you are sleeping in the great outdoors.

The cabin sits half way up the mountain at approximately 3100 ft elevation. Perfect for enjoying the cool summer nights and the beautiful fall foliage. It is secluded, however, there are neighbors close enough for comfort and you are only 5 miles from Sylva North Carolina where you have all the latest restaurants as well as Super Walmart for your groceries and necessities. There is a GAS grill so you can grill should you choose.

There is plenty to do such as Harrahs Casino (20 minutes away) and a scenic train ride in Bryson City (20 minutes away). We are also only minutes from white water rafting, dirt-bike riding, ATV trails, tubing, shopping and lots more.

Perfect weekend trip!

My parnter and I needed a weekend trip to relax and recharge. This place was perfect! Its just the two of us and the space was perfect. The cabin is cute, clean and you can hear the creek anytime you are outside or if you open the windows! Also very close to town so there were plenty of options for us to choose from for daytime activities Very nice, we will back! back!

Cody cabin at a great price

Had an awesome stay in this cabin. Very clean, and cozy. Easy check in and great people to rent from. Responded in a timely manner as well as being so nice. The Creek runs right beside this cozy cabin. YOU CAN’T BEAT THE PRICE HERE FOR WHAT YOU GET!!! If you’re looking for a cozy small cabin this is definitely the one..

Great cabin and great location.

The cabin is really nice. Loved the view from the porch and through the skylights. Really liked listening to the creek flowing throughout the night. It's a really nice and secluded drive up to the cabin.

Quiet getaway

We loved staying in this beautiful little cabin on the hill. Tucked away in the forest with the relaxing sounds of the running creek and wonderful hosts, this was just what we needed!

Peaceful and Serene

We really loved the surroundings, the trees and the rushing creek. The cabin itself was clean and cozy and Steve & Denise were very helpful when we needed them. Highly recommended!

Very peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable

I had an excellent stay at the Cozy Cabin. I stayed for 3 nights and wish it could have been longer. The cabin was very comfortable, the porch was fantastic with an amazing view, and the location was perfect. Denise and Steve were very hospitable and warm, and I enjoyed meeting them. I would love to stay with them again, and recommend the cabin to anyone else looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to stay.

Great last minute stay!

Very close to Sylva, cabin was very clean. Hosts were very nice and attentive. Pulling in was tricky with a full size SUV (just forwarding those with large trucks). Great that we had a grill and fire pit to use!

I would stay here again. The owners were great! Cabin was VERY clean. TV was clear. Wifi was fast. Price was AMAZING. Everything worked like it should. Quiet cabin for a great price.

Cozy and quaint

This little cabin in the mountains of NC was just the cutest. Very quiet, serene area not far off the highway. It has everything you need! Beautiful location, and a clean cozy cabin. One and only issue was the wifi signal and our cell service. If you're not super dependent on or don't need to have access to the Internet during your trip then it's more than perfect. We did love it here and would absolutely recommend staying at this spot.

Great find!

The property was “as listed “. This was a very nice get away for my wife and I to relax. Ms. Denise was very informative throughout the entire process. The cabin was fully stocked with all the basic needs and overall very clean! I’m glad I drove my wife’s Camry because the turn from the road to the driveway is tight! I would definitely recommend this place.

Perfection!

Decided on this place after reading the reviews, and so glad I did! Location was perfect and was a 15 - 20 minute drive to everywhere on our list to visit (Cherokee, Silva, Dillsboro, & Bryson city) and an hour to Gatlinburg. Cabin was perfect size for me and my other half all though a lot of laughs were had watching him go upstairs (6’3 and a bigger build) :) The wrap around porch was the perfect place to spend our mornings listening to the mountain side creek. Neighbors were friendly, and all though I wasn’t able to personally meet Steve and Denise as they were on their own vacation, they were in constant communication making sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Can’t wait to go back and already planning a trip for the summer!

Perfect Mountain Stay 10/10

The hosts are absolutely wonderful and so kind. The power was out for the first night we arrived and they helped us get candles and flashlights and lit the stove up for us. And they also refunded the night which was very nice of them. The cabin was the perfect size for us 2 and our dog. It was very clean and nicely decorated. It has everything you need and most importantly, you will have no problem unwinding and enjoying the peace of the mountains. The porch is fantastic. Sylva, Dillsboro and Cherokee are all close by with more than enough places to see. 10/10 stay. Will definitely return when we come back to the mountains. Thanks, Nick and Alex.

Cabin in the woods

We enjoyed our stay very much and the location was great for us to be able to attend the outdoor drama “Unto These Hills”. The secluded environment and nearby creek made our stay relaxing. The cabin itself was comfortable and met all needs. We would recommend that a handle be added to the inside of the bathroom door, the pullout had some dog hair, and lastly it would be nice if the neighbors cleaned up their yard a bit. It would have also been helpful if the truck parked near the neighbors was moved. This would have made getting out of the driveway easier. Where the truck is parked would make a great space for backing the vehicle so we could have driven out instead of having to back down the driveway and the little bridge.

Pros and Cons

The property looks exactly like the photos which is good and the owners are very friendly! They even helped fix the TV connection at a moment’s notice. We do appreciate that! However, there are some things that need improvement. Firstly, it was impossible to get warm. There are two tiny plug in heaters; one upstairs and one downstairs. Neither puts out much heat. We all slept super bundled up, but we also had our baby with us and it was hard to keep him warm. Secondly, the dishes need a deep clean. We are a family that cooks on vacation to save money but the utensils and spatulas, etc. were kinda gross. We ended up eating out the second night so that we wouldn’t have to use them. Finally, if you have young kids or ANY struggles causing you to have a hard time getting around, this is not the property for you. The spiral staircase is veryyyy tiny and steep. We are a young couple in good health and it was even scary for us. Final thing, which may not bother some people, you share the same yard and outdoor space with the owners so you don’t feel like you can be outside and enjoy your own privacy on vacation. Ultimately, we wouldn’t stay here again.

We had a lovely stay! The area was so picturesque and the hosts were quick to reply if I had a question. I was comforted by the fact that they live on the property since our cell service was spotty. Would love to go back!

Very cute little blue cabin! Perfect weekend get away for my husband and I! The cabin was very clean and well stocked with necessities. Sitting on the front porch while listening to the creek was the perfect spot!
