Located 5 minutes from Aulnay de Saintonge (its exceptional Romanesque art listed by UNESCO, the way to Santiago de Compostela), 15 minutes from Saint Jean d'Angely (stage on the way to Tours leading to Compostela, its royal abbey, its various monuments and streets steeped in history to visit). Take your family for a walk or bike ride in the Charente countryside. The Saintonge Dorée is a territory rich in its exceptional architectural heritage. Many Romanesque churches are visible in many villages in the Saintonge countryside. Castles and houses in Saintonge are must-sees. The Saintonge Dorée is crossed by the Voie de Tours, one of the routes to Santiago de Compostela.
