"The hosts were very responsive and helpful before we got there and once we were there. The House is set up so that you can have common areas between two families, bedroom and bath on one side. Two bedrooms and one bath on the other side with a living room kitchen in between. You will definitely need bug spray if you plan on having a campfire but sitting and listening to the waves coming off the lake is definitely worth it."

"Absolutely lovely property and such attentive hosts! I reached out ahead of the trip to check on a few details, Patti and Rich answered in an instant and they have put so much thought into every detail in the home. Amish bread, wine and snacks awaited us upon arrival with a personal note from the hosts. A fully stocked coffee bar, every possible utensil you could need in the kitchen. I cooked all of our meals and had everything I could need. The house itself is the perfect cottage in the woods feel and the decor reflected that. Cozy and sweet. The beds are very comfortable and plenty of towels and linens were supplied. We spent much of our time on the front porch, which is so inviting. There is a small family of hummingbirds that feed from the porch - and they are not shy! Refreshing pool out back with a lovely deck for sunbathing. The grounds are meticulously maintained. I walked my dog a few times a day around the perimeter and he absolutely loved it. Rich messaged us ahead of time to say the lawn service would come during our stay which we appreciated but was certainly not necessary. A wonderful reset for us in a beautiful setting that we most certainly intend to visit again. Book early, it's a popular place. Looking forward to visiting in the Fall."

"Didn’t realize the ac was only upstairs so ended up purchasing a fan but luckily with the windows open it wasn’t too hot but definitely was a bit sweaty of a sleep for us on the pull out!"

"We had a fabulous week here and enjoyed every minute. The second day there the shower handle broke and the owner responded to my text quickly and a plumber was there the next morning and fixed it right away. Communication was wonderful and the owner was so nice. The large yard and deck on the lake was our favorite. We saw many heron's, including one that caught a fish and ate it in the yard in front of us! We also saw a bald eagle steal a fish from a heron and there was a mink also! We enjoyed the fire pit, the long dock, and the kids loved the kayaks, paddle boards and canoe's. The lake at that north end has a wonderful sandy bottom and is waist height so far out so we really enjoyed the swimming. I was able to dock our pontoon boat there easily. Our daughter loved the hammock as well. Despite there being no air conditioning, and the days in the high 80's during our whole stay, the evening air cooled things off quickly and we were very comfortable. Thank you for sharing your home with us! I've had many people ask for the link after hearing our experience here."
