The manager was very nice and accommodating, I had an extra person with me and it was a very last-minute change but the manager was kind and understanding about it. The motel looks dated from the outside but it is clean and comfortable. The pictures online are old because the rooms are much newer and renovated. I would recommend this motel if you are looking to stay in town.

Good people and the room was clean. Provided us with extra towels and blankets. In a city like Chatham we expected it to be a little dated and old fashioned but they have done some renovations like the wooden floors. Overall, this motel was very good for the cost

booked the room for 2 people but had a last-minute change of plan, a friend tag along. The manager was so nice and accommodating. Provided us with extra towels and blankets and did not charge extra. the Room is dated but very clean and with new sheets and equipment. The area is quite and calm. Felt safe to walk around. overall the service was nice and I would recommend it. I have gone back to them since my stay and I will most likely go stay with them again if I am in town.

Good Location, Good Price, Nice staff and Cleanroom. I could tell that they had sanitized everything which was good to know. The owner is very welcoming, definitely worth the stay, especially with the budget-friendly price.

Pleasant enough.
As a lower priced accommodation we understand that the owners get frustrated with the abuse to the rooms enacted by some guests who either don't care or really feel they want "their money's worth". My room was clean and a non smoking one whos last occupants smoked up a storm in. I had worked as a housekeeper so I have no qualms with helping to tidy my room and add finishing touches. The owners gave me a better deal due to this as we are occupying the room until our apt is ready. The grounds are clean and the motel is older but pleasant looking. I am not unhappy here. Just had to clean up after myself more than just relying on maidservice. Staff is friendly and available. Many of the guests may be long term style especially with the increase of newcomers to Canada. They asked me not to smoke in the room and that is more than fine by me.

I stayed over the May long weekend. It was a very quiet and relaxing stay. It was a few minutes drive away from all downtown. The room and bathroom looked updated. Check in was quick. Would definitely come back if in the area. Keep up the great work guys. very kind and smiling faces.

We feels like Texas chainsaws massacre. C'était vieux, aucune commodité! Que dire de plus. Je ne le recommande pas du tout! Nous avions réservé via le net. Avoir pu, nous aurions couché ailleurs, mais il était tard et rien n’avait l’air mieux aux alentours...Le garçon à la réception était très gentil cependant.Pas de serviettes, ni de séchoir, pas de lumière sauf celle de la salle de bain. Humidité ++ les fenêtres n’ouvraient pas. Bref, à oublier.

Good room with minor issues.
Overall the room was good for the price. However, there were a few annoying issues: 1)the TV remote did not work 2)there was only 1 TV channel to watch which was a sports channel 3)the washroom receptacle did not work 4)there was no bedside light. These are not big problems, but when stating that there is a TV in the room, the expectation is that you have more than 1 channel to view.

What a hole. People were nice but that's where the good ends. Door handle fell apart when I opened the door, paint flaking off the walls, trim missing, and I think it would have been softer if I had slept on the floor. Woke up the owner at 8am to check out, office wasn't even open. Hard pass on staying there again

The motel is older, but well kept. clean and quiet
The motel is older, but well kept. The room was clean, bed comfortable, clean towels daily. Our room size was adequate. Parking is by the room door. A plus for us. The owner was quite friendly and helpful for all requests, (extra towels, soaps) very kind people. The location was convenient to downtown and not too far from grocery stores and not the mention the convenience store/gas station right next to the motel. Compared to price of other motels it was a good deal. Best part the greyhound bus station is the gas station it self which was very convenient for my wife who was traveling to Toronto the next day

Cheap and comfortable stay in quiet town
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is family owned and mostly family operated. The entire staff was polite and welcoming and very much so on a personal level. Dated Motel but renovated rooms, very clean and comfortable. There is a connivence store right next door and a Tim Hortons walking distance. there is also a grocery store and pharmacy down the road. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in this area who is looking for a cheap and clean place to stay for the night. A great hotel in a quiet little town!

Great rooms & very nice people to deal with!! 😀
Very roomy and clean room. The people that I talked with are very polite and courteous! Good location to get to most anywhere you want to go. Convent store right by the rooms. Quiet area. 2 beds, TV, refrigerator, microwave , wifi, cable and most of all very cheap price!!!! The room here was nicer than most motels in town and a whole lot cheaper!!!

No trash pick up all 4 days. No WiFi password. No real manager on site. 1 washcloth, 1 large towel, 1extra large towel for 2 people. Peeling ceilings. HIGH step to get into room. No plug to recharge cell phone. They need HELP.

The motel services do not include housekeeping like it is mentioned on the site. However, towels and other necessities can be provided if you ask for it at the front desk. Also, each room has 3 outlets 1 being used for the refrigerator/microwave and TV. the other 2 are open and can be used for anything. we are sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant experience, we will try to do better.

Just a place to sleep
Good thing we were not there much because no one even came in to take the garbage out everyday, we had to take it out ourselves. I know it was no daily maid service but really no trash pick up? And the manager gave one of the rooms away before we even arrived on Thursday 6/29/2017 and the manager did call me twice at my home but I was driving there to Canada, didn't get the messages until I got home on the 3rd. NOT HAPPY.

You get what you pay for - maybe even less
The proprietor was distracted by his cell phone throughout the check-in process and could not find my reservation in his system. When I got to the room it had not been cleaned and I had to wait, even though it was nearly 5 p.m. To top it off the vending machine swallowed my coins without giving me my soda or a refund. The shower was robust through.

Clean room, nice hostess
The non-smoking room is very clean, two queen size beds with nearly new quilts, micro-oven, refrigerator. The hostess is nice too, and didn't charge me for extra adult fee (3 adults 1 kid). The location is quiet. The price is almost the cheapest!

We arrived after an 8 hour drive to find out that they don't take pets. We are so greatful that they allowed our large breed dog in for free!!! Thanks so much!

Great Room for the price and Good People
The Room was clean and included all the necessities. I was put into a renovated room with Hardwoods floors, The Staff was kind and welcoming. good place for family and kids. Close you many stores and Tim hortons for breakfast. The owners were kind enough to let us check out late free of charge.

Very dated, terribly maintained, avoid this place.
Arrived at night, checked in and went to the room. Room was dated, air was heavy with smoke to the point where you could only smell smoke with every breath. Soap dish in the bathroom had soap melted into it, floor in bathroom had cigarette burns around the toilet, walls in the bathroom were peeling as there is no ventilation (fan) in the bathroom. Floor was a blue carpet that felt dirty, checked the beds and there were no sign of bed bugs, however the sheets and comforters had stains on them that were bodily fluids. All payments are done up front and "no refunds" sign is proudly posted in the office to ensure you are absolutely trapped.
