Perfect Place on the Lake

Our comfortable cottage allows you to step right outside and be standing over beautiful Caney Lake. With beautiful views from the dock, best fishing in the state of Louisiana, you feel you are at a relaxing resort on the inside of this property. Tucked away in a quiet cove, this is a true relaxing fishing getaway for the entire family or guys weekend away. 1 Queen Bed in bedroom, 2 twin beds and 1 futon sofa that makes into a full bed.

Located in private cove with boat launch close by at state park or Hooks Marina. Local bass fishing expert and sac-a-lait fisherman lives next door and is happy to talk and share his secrets. Also, friendly neighbors that are willing to assist during any portion of your stay. Enjoy water sports or relax with a book. Jimmie Davis State park is close by either water or road. Great Beaches and splash pads for the children to play.

40 minute drive to Monroe for shopping and visit to Duck Dynasty. Jonesboro 20 minutes away for nearest town with Wal Mart. 2 Marina's on lake, Hooks Marina & Browns Landing offers gas, snacks, food, bait and drinks.

Sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, shampoo, soap, hair dryer, coffee maker, skillets, pots and pans, dishes, propane BBQ pit, Satellite TV, 2 TV's one in living room and other in bedroom, WiFi, washer and dryer, iron, closet space, patio table and folding chairs outside, ladder on dock for those who want to swim in lake. On request can provide life vest for all sizes.

Relaxing Retreat

Host and family next door were friendly and welcoming:) Perfect location for my husband who loves to fish in his new boat, and for me who loves site seeing and searching for a location to buy or build a camp. We have friends nearby and love the lake access. Returning in September.

Perfect Getaway!

Made our annual trip to Molly's, and once again, everything was amazing! The cabin has all of the amenities you'd want or need. Combine that with a gorgeous view, friendly neighbors, and a perfect split deck (half covered, half open), and it's the perfect recipe for a stress free vacation. We'll definitely be back!

Caney trip

Very private and quiet. Perfect for fishing trip. Only negative was little room to park boat and no ramp close. The old boat on lift should be trailered for guests to launch n park one time. Great place

Very peaceful. Much needed slow down. Fishing was mind relaxing. Had place to cook outside on the flat grill , or barbecue on the pit. We had the best neighbors. Thanks for everything. This was our second time staying here. Next time maybe we come with Grandbaby’s.

Perfect Get away

My Grandson loves to fish and we go a lot together so I was hoping to carry him to Caney for a couple days. He invited a friend of his, well the cabin was perfect for the get away, I was able to tie my boat up to the dock which is actually the cabin itself. the cabin was very clean, and boat or not provides access to the lake for fishing, beautiful setting out on the deck. Mr Beach who is Miss Molly's dad lives next door and he was great and has a beautiful place as well. Highly recommend this booking if going to Caney

Check-in process was easy. Molly was super fast at responding. House was precious and the perfect cozy cottage. We enjoyed using the kayaks that were provided and hanging out on the floating dock. Will definitely be booking here again!

Vacation getaway

Very relaxing and peaceful. Beautiful patio overlooking lake to watch sunrise and sunset. Spent most of our time in the boat or on the patio. Couldn't have asked for better weather. Lake house very nice and comfortable bed.

Perfect getaway

Clean and quiet cottage. Enjoyed my much needed vacation. Caney lake being one of the premier bass fishing lakes in Louisiana makes being on the water even better. Molly was a wonderful person to work with and she will be hearing from us soon to book another trip. If you looking for a place on the water to get away from it all this is the place.. thanks Molly

Perfect place on the lake

It was just as the pictures show .. the lake house was clean and just what we were looking for. The only complaint was having to park so far away but i needed the exercise!

One hundred percent as good as (or even better than) advertised! I honestly don't think the photos do it justice. Great communication from Molly, and her parents are super helpful and friendly if you need anything. We'll definitely come here again.

Caney Lake Cottage

Host was extremely accommodating. Allowed me to check in a couple hours early when the weather interrupted my fishing plans. It’s conveniently located. Only a few minutes from 2 different boat ramps. About 10-12 minutes to the nearest town with Walmart, fast food, convenience stores etc. Cottage was very clean and well kept. Bed was very comfortable. Cottage is out on the water so when you walk out the door you walk out onto the pier where you can relax and fish. Gas grill, table, chairs were provided. Would definitely recommend this place for a small group, couple, or individual. 10 out of 10
