"We had a wonderful stay. The local town is beautiful and incredibly peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax. We ate at two restaurants in the village, both of which served excellent food and were very welcoming. The nearby zoo was magnificent, and seeing the pandas was a real highlight. The house itself was spotless and exactly as shown in the photos, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and courteous, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. "We stayed 2 nights, mom and teen daughter. Stayed in a queen cabin. First the goods - the air conditioning on our cabin was exceptional and bed super comfy. We slept well in the heat. The staff are ALL very friendly and helpful. Pool was perfect temperature for a dip in the heat. They had poolside drink service too. Honestly, I can’t say enough about the very good and friendly service. Location is fantastic, very close to Blois. You need a car Points to consider - the wifi in our cabin was practically non-existent. If you have to work here, plan to rely on cell service. As others have mentioned, the shower is poorly designed and if you aren’t very careful, water will stream everywhere. I noticed the floor is warped in several places and I expect it’s from sitting water from shower. Breakfast was not excellent. Reminded me more of a Holiday Inn Express than a beautiful French countryside hotel. Maybe my expectations were too high. We ate at the restaurant one evening. We enjoyed it, staff very accommodating."
