Positives: Location was GREAT. It’s right by the LYNX blue line light rail and not far from Amtrak station. The property was clean and gave Boho modern chic vibes. The property staff were pleasant and accommodating while in the building during business hours. Good for short stays. Negatives: checking in was HORRIBLE! I’m happy I caught the staff before 5pm because I struggled to complete the pre-check in and the check in on the lobby Kiosk. You’ll be chatting with a bot if you need assistance (not helpful). Staff told me the room wasn’t ready and that could be a reason for the check in delay. Again, I arrived around 4:50pm. Staff went upstairs to check with “housekeeping” about the room. He came back with good news and assisted manually with my check in. Staff sent me the generated text with the codes to the room and common areas. The second bedroom lamp in apt 335 didn’t work so my friend was left in the dark at sunset. The room was clean minus the opened can of water that was found on the kitchen counter. You only get 1 roll of tissue for each bathroom. These may be minor issues but there wasn’t a place to sit your soap in the standing shower in the main bedroom. If you’re clumsy, be careful walking around the corners of the bed. Overall, I would consider staying here as a second option.

Do not even attempt to stay here. I was completely ripped off. I got there and they would not send the code for me to get in. They charged me more than booking for a place I couldn’t even get into. The office was closed and texting them did no good. I sat in the lobby for hours and finally had to go to meetings and find another place. I tried to cancel but they ignored it and charged my card more than what the booking fee was. Since it almost $600 I am getting going to file suit in the magistrate court for the money. Do NOT book here. I was not the only one there with the same problem.

Check in process is a nightmare. Super slow. No proper reception. Manager never showed up or handled my pricing issues through my entire stay. Iron and board were supposed to be in the property. It was not there. Besides following multiple times, never got them. Had to get out in the night time to get my dress ironed for my meetings next day. Apartment/suite smelled like paint or very new wood kind of. As soon as I entered, the smell was strong and it took a while to get used to. The staff was very helpful to return my wallet which I left at reception after waiting for a long tiring time during check in. Bed was too soft. Blinds were not smooth and found it hard to open and close. Wud be nice if there were vending machines in every floor for small stuffs like water bottles.

Jonery is an apartment complex located in Charlotte, North Carolina’s trendy Arts District that allots of portion of their one bedroom and studio spaces for room rental. They require you to pre-check in online which I did. I knew that I would be arriving after the 5PM which is when their website noted a life staff member leaves. For two days during business hours, I left emails. I left voicemails….called excessively and no one ever answered or responded. Upon my 5 o’clock arrival, tenants were being evacuated from the building and fire alarms were blazing. Had to wait about 40 minutes for the fire department to clear everyone to re-enter the bldg. like many virtual check-in residence, there was a kiosk in the lobby that gave instructions. I was also sent email instructions on how to use the kiosk. I did everything I was instructed to do, but my check-in would not process. Ask some of the permanent tenants for help, they noted that they often see travelers struggling to check in. The login I was given to get onto the elevator, did not work the login I was finally given to get into my room did not work. Via text, eventually got a response from a staff member. It took an additional two hours for them to generate me a new room code. After nearly 3 1/2 hours, that room code worked. By that time, I had already booked another suite at another hotel. I demanded a refund and a complimentary stay. I was reluctantly given a refund after much back-n-forth. The worst…
