We didn't end of staying. Friday morning we got word that Dad was in bad shape and Hospice had arrived. We went to him straight away and gave him as much comfort as we could. I finally contacted the host on Sunday and made them aware that we didn't stay and that there was no need to pay someone to clean the place. I didn't ask for a refund knowing it was beyond the cancelation period. However, the host refunded me the cleaning fee which was gracious of them.Thank you

We were not charmed. Pros: wonderful location. Close to downtown Kannapolis and beautiful walking trails. The refrigerator, A/C, electricity, lights/lamps, water heater, toaster, Keurig machine, WiFi and TVs worked. The neighborhood is quiet. Cons: bedroom and bathroom doors didn't close. Front door was stuck and very difficult to open. The kitchen table is very small and the top was not connected to the base. We had to be very cautious or the top would tip over. The bath towels were very small and thin. Bed sheets were too big for the bed and the linens were old. The mattresses were old and the pillows were too thin. It's a 100 year old house and it smells like it. The back of the door to the primary bedroom was very dusty. The electrical outlets are in odd places and there weren't enough outlets. We would not stay here again. Our advice is to pay a little more and get your money's worth.

The cottage was clean and well equipped! It is within walking distance to a lovely town and has a walking path close by too. Kitchen and washer drier were great. The beds were not very comfortable in our opinion. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Overall the house was nice, and had everything we needed for our stay. The lights behind the house where you need to park could stay on longer. All in all we would stay there again.

The town of Kannapolis is adorable, very walkable from the rental. We were there to visit family, the rental met every need we had. We felt very safe in the area and in the rental. The front porch is wonderful.

Great location

We liked this location a lot! The house is very old and none of the doors close properly due to how old it is but it was still good for our needs! So much is in walking distance and we loved that aspect! Overall, nice experience!

Nice overall stay

Home is older in an established neighborhood. Home is comfortable. Wi-Fi dropped frequently while we were there. Location is walkable to downtown restaurants and shops. Very near the walking trail. Area was quiet and felt safe. Would stay again.

As mentioned in other reviews, this is an older property, the outdoor furniture was unusable based on its cleanliness. However, the host was very communicative, told us immediately about a city wide water contamination issue and brought us a case of water the next day. Also remediated the lack of coffee pods immediately. The grill is nonpropane and should be specified in the listing.

Very cute house small but comfortable very nicely decorated. Quite close to restaurants we stayed here to attend the NASCAR races.we were about 30 minutes to the track. I will definitely stay here againThe only things that could be better would be a dehumidifier the house is old and you could feel the dampness in the closets. Also the washing machine only uses hot water so beware of labels in your clothes.

The house was not cleaned very well at all. The kitchen was not stocked with very much to make meals. Storage bowls or utensils. The driveway and parking is awkward and space is limited.
