Set in the beautiful Dorset countryside, this cosy bungalow is a perfect retreat for a couple.. All on the Ground Floor:
Living/dining room: Freeview Smart TV, Patio Doors Leading To Garden
Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine
Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, 32" Smart TV, (Ensuite Also Accessed From Hallway) Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Large enclosed lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue. Electric type 2 car charging point. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. A warm welcome awaits you at The Stables at Green View. Set all on one level, next door to the owner, the comfortable living/dining room looks out onto the large gardens and beautiful patio doors allow the outside in. The bedroom is spacious and has a Jack and Jill shower room so it can be accessed from the bedroom or from the hallway, whilst the well-equipped kitchen has all you need to ensure you enjoy your break. No attention to detail has been spared, the beautiful oak furniture throughout is a testament to the care that has been put into this holiday home.
During your stay why not head into Chard to stock up on essentials, visit the beautiful gardens at Cricket St Thomas or the beaches of West Bay (made famous by the TV show Broadchurch). Lyme Regis is reachable in 30 minutes by car, and the lovely town of Bridport, which has a wonderful market on Wednesdays and Saturdays, is just a 25-minute drive away. Beach 12¼ miles. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

The car charger is located in our courtyard and you need a card to operate it. Cost for charging electric cars are as follows: Small car (40kWh): £15 per full charge Medium car (52kWh): £20 per full charge Large car (75 kWh): £25 per full charge SUV (95kWh): £30 per full charge (These will change when tariffs change, but this is valid as of January 2023) Our charger is an ICS, 7.2 kW charger. Type 2. It does not have a cable, your cable will need to have aa plug with 7 pins, five larger and two smaller (at the top).

Lovely cottage, very warm and comfortable. Access driveway only downside, getting bumpy and muddy for time of year. Lovely hosts, and pony was a surprise, loved his apple each day.

So pleased that we found this cottage, very well presented and a perfect layout. Decorated to very high standard, all the mid con throughout. Felt like a home from home, we just loved it. Perfect hosts in Angie and Wayne, made us feel really welcomed. And the location is perfect for easy access to all the main tourist spots in Dorset. Just 30 minutes from the Jurassic coast.

10/10! Simply Superb. Was so lucky to be the first family to stay here. Both hosts Angie and Wayne were very friendly and welcoming. Helped us with directions and gave advise and recommendations. They live in the house next door although its not within touching distance and you most definatly feel as if your a million miles away from anyone. The Cottage is brilliantly equipped with everything you would need and more. The Cake was yummy! From a coffee machine to smart tvs the interior and exterior are very modern but in the middle of pure countryside bliss. Its really the best of both worlds. The pictures we first saw don't do the cottage justice, its spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 young kids but would be ideal for a couples retreat also. All of the cottage is equipped with lovely furniture and even Alexa! We spent 4 nights at The Stables and was gutted to say goodbye. I would recommend this place to everyone. 10/10. Thanks Again :)
