Staying in a hotel in the mountains above Chamonix, accessible only by a quaint train (30 minutes) where you can go on incredible hikes or just relax on the patio and stare at the glorious mountains... well, it doesn't get better than that. Everyone on the staff was attentive and nice, and the family room was perfect for my husband, myself, and our teenage daughter (who got her own space). We loved it!!
Our stay at Montenvers was great. The hotel appearred lovingly restored to it's original glory. It was a realitively easy and comfortable way to immerse in some of the most beautiful mtns in the world. The food was very good. The views from our room of the glacier and mtns were fantastic.
A historical hotel with excellent food. Love the hotel dogs( love to play stick) and the feline friend in the dinning area. The view from the room are wow.
Would i be back? Yes.
Vale a pena!
