Sympa pour un cours séjour

Nous avons été très bien accueillies par Philippe qui est très sympatique et serviable. La chambre était sympa avec une belle vue. Mallheureusement l'isolation sonore est très limite, on entend tout ce qui se passe. Niveau propreté la douche était très bien, les toilettes moins mais sûrement à cause des autres visiteurs qui n'avaient pas les mêmes notions d'hygiène que nous... En résumé, c'est une bonne adresse pour un court séjour.

Michelle ist very very helpful and lovely person. It is a very nice place and the hotel is very well and clean. We would like come back to the place next year!!! It’s great and the view is wonderful!!!

Fab chalet, comfortable rooms and friendly hosts.

Chalet has a great location minutes from Les Houches and the centre of Chamonix itself. Very easy to find, stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. We really enjoyed the communal breakfasts as it gave us an opportunity to meet other guests. Would recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive Chamonix stay!

Qualité et prix cohérents. Séjour agréable

On y était pour la proximité des attractions à un coût raisonnable. Les déjeuners sont excellents. La salle de bain commune était propre et bien organisée. Les portes sont difficiles à barrer. Très belle vue sur le glacier des Bossons.

Hotel pitoresco, limpo e acessível.

Escolhemos por ser perto do centro e poder estacionar, o atendimento e limpeza são os pontos fortes desse chalé. Tem 2 andares e cada andar tem 3 quartos, os banheiros são compartilhados mas muito bons e limpos. O café da manhã excelente!!!

on se serait cru dans un refug

rien de positif , pas de linge de toilette, adresse très difficile à trouver, environnement du chalet non conforme à la photo, on se serait cru dans un refuge qui sont d'ailleurs plus plus avenants..

Très bien, rien de luxueux, mais tout y est, a 7 min en voiture de Chamonix. Un endroit pour dormir, peu de choses a faire au alentours.

Bom custo benefício em Chamonix

Os hotéis em Chamonix tem um custo bastante elevado. O Chalet le Frenes tem um bom custo benefício para quem busca um local para dormir. Ficamos em um quarto com banheiro compartilhado, o quarto era razoável e o banheiro limpo. O Chale fica em um bairro de Chamonix a cerca de 3/4 km do Centro. Tem um ponto de ônibus que fica à uns 600m do chalet, os ônibus passam a cada meia hora em direção ao Centro. Eles servem café da manhã que é bem gostoso. Obs: tivemos um pouco de dificuldade em ir ao hotel quando chegamos, a dica é pegar o ônibus gratuito número 2 direção Le Bossons.

Accueil très agreable meme s'il faut parler anglais.situation géographique idéale puisque les glaciers des bossons terminent leur course juste au dessus du jardin du chalet! Vue magnifique au réveil assurée!

Chalet Frances in Chamonix, France

Great host who advised what to see and do while in Chamonix. Nice breakfast. (great croissants) Access to everything by bus. Beautiful view of Mount Blanc.

Good but not so great, its ok if its a short stay

Phil is a great host and the chalet is located near Chamonix, 10 minutes with the car to city centre. The breakfast is as one could expect, french croissants and some other stuff, but nothing more. The kitchen is their private area so you can't really feel at home there. There are no TVs in the room or anything, the bathroom is shared and has not towels or anything so pack yours. Our short stay was disturbed by loud french teenagers that were speaking for hours on the phone all night long. The rooms are not soundproof at all and you can hear everything.

Quiet and homely

Two friends on a short stay, late decision skiing break. Chalet Les Frenes is on the outskirts of Chamonix on regular free bus routes. In a beautiful setting. Rooms are basic and beds are comfortable. There are no communal areas but guests have access to the owners' dining room where a tasty and varied breakfast is served. Owners Phil and Michelle go out of their way to make you welcome and soon feel like friends.

Chalet les Frenes sits in the beautiful foothills of Mont Blanc

It is what it is - a layover in a busy place. Didn't exactly stay in the place long and we were out for much out the stay..Would only say that it probably should be a bit cheaper

Great little place to stay

Great little place to stay. Clean, warm and friendly owners. Went with my 2 children who got a little bit bored in the evening as its a short distance from Chamonix. The hot tub was great!

a visit over a friend's house

we arrived at night, in the middle of the pouring rain, and in the morning I said a big wow, the view behind the cabin, amazing! we felt like we were visiting friends :) very friendly people there, the rooms clean, had a good night's sleep in fresh bed sheets, lovely morning with a tasty breakfast definitely a revisit!

Bon B&B, accueil sympa!

B&B sympa, pour un bon rapport qualité prix à Chamonix. Pour payer moins cher, c'est les campings. Nous avions la chambre avec vue sur le glacier des Bossons, hyper agréable au réveil! L'idéal c'est de venir ici en voiture car le centre-ville reste assez loin (5min en voiture), bien qu'il y ait des navettes ou des vélos mis à disposition par le propriétaire. On a l'impression de dormir à l'auberge espagnole. Le seul problème serait peut-être de partager la salle de bain avec une autre chambre. Sion, pour un B&B, c'est plutôt parfait! A recommander

Pleasant stay at great little BnB

We decided to go with a BnB this trip as let's face it, Chamonix is not cheap and we did not intend to hang around our room all day as the hiking beckoned. Well, it was a perfect match. Really welcoming and easy-going hosts who do their utmost to make your visit pleasant and unchallenged. They are always willing to help with whatever needs you might have.They even provided us with two bikes to get ourselves out and about which we thoroughly appreciated. The rooms are spacious and good place to put your clothes and "stuff". Nice big windows to let in the afternoon breeze. The beds were also very comfortable and slept well every night. Bathrooms have two good /strong showers and are always clean. Breakfast is great with super hot croissants and baggetes and great coffee. On the whole, a lovely stay.

Bra mycket enkelt B&B en bit från Chamonix centrum

Rekommenderas om man är beredd på att det är ett enkelt boende. Små rum med hårda sängar och inga egentliga allmänna utrymmen. Mycket enkel frukost i ägarnas vardagsrum. Miljön kring kompenserar för det mesta. B&B ligger alldeles nedanför Mont Blanc och två av dess magnifika glaciärer. Trevliga avslappnade ägare och möjlighet att låna cyklar. Skulle gärna återkomma trots att det var rätt spartanskt.

Not one thing to complain about clean freindly great value great host buses are free so getting about ant to bad we missed bus so listen to directions properly and its a great spot for exploring all the slopes Be going back soon.a kettle in room would be nice.

Happily recommend to friends.

Drove to Chamonix for snowboarding. Chalet owners were very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money. If you don't have a car there is a bus stop outside. Will stay again.
