We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Hotel D’Angleterre. The property is very well maintained. The staff is friendly and very helpful and the hotel is located in the heart of Chalon, which is a beautiful, historic city. We would definitely stay again!

A lovely overnight stay at this hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful. Centrally located but quiet at night, great for exploring the town. Beautiful room, comfortable bed. Superb meal in restaurant.

Warm welcome and very happy that we received a complimentary upgrade to our room. Room very warm but air conditioning soon sorted that. Lovely comfy bed and spacious room and bathroom. Highly recommend.

The staff were friendly, polite and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, there was limited on site parking for early arrivers but it cost €10, we fancied eating out in Chalons on the evening and left too early for breakfast so I cant speak about the catering except to say what I saw looked very good.

Very friendly pleasant place to stay en route. Initially struggled to find it as the name was in cursive writing! Parking safe and a good breakfast. Central to town.

PERFECT PIT STOP

Super welcome from the receptionist. Dog friendly and they made a fuss of him. We had a large room on the front of the property but it was very quiet. Right in the centre of town.

Good hotel. Check in at 4pm and checkout at 11am is quite restrictive . Also breakfast only until 10am on a Sunday. If you would like to eat in one of their restaurants it appears you need to make a reservation weeks in advance.

This hotel has the very best dinner i have ever eaten at a French, Italian, or German hotel. Michelin rated restaurant and a second restaurant, so two restaurants for quite a small hotel. Very conveniently located, super clean, very kind staff, very helpful. Convenient parking. Reason i mention restaurants is that they have same chef, and it was truly extraordinarily excellent. Truly magnificent dinner. Unbelievably good. Well worth taking chef recommendation, he has specialties. Truly happy with our stay.
