「深夜二時過ぎに着いた私も悪いのですが、駐車場のゲートが閉まっていました。（チャイムを押したら開けてくれました）夜勤のフロントはあまり英語がしゃべれませんが、翌朝のフロントは英語がしゃべれ、Barletta中心部へのシャトルバスも紹介してくれました。（Barletta自体、正直観光地とは呼べませんが・・・）私は、海岸沿いの、フリー？のパーキングに車を停めて、歩いて街を廻りました。それでもぜんぜん疲れない大きさの街です。値段相応のホテル（モーテル？）です。」
