"Stayed at this property for 2 nights in 2008 and really enjoyed it then, and decided to bring my wife and use it as a base to visit the area for her first time. The units are charming, but basic. We had a 2 bedroom apt. with a sun deck, great value of money in a late Late Feb. visit. With views over the Links course and onto the Mediterranean. While 18 years has gone by, nothing has changed, including furnishings, kitchenware and appliances. It’s a basic supply of items to support your kitchen needs. There was no modern coffee maker, it’s old school small espresso pot on stove. No modern toaster, it was flat heated grill from the 70’s, etc. Everything worked, and it is a solid 3 *** property, so we were disappointed but not shocked at what was available to us. We also found it odd that the room was not ‘prepped’ for our arrival like most properties do. blankets were not put out, lightbulbs not checked, outdoor patio chairs were still stacked the corner of the deck, windows still had their metal shutters down. We discovered everything, opened up the apartment to be bright and airy, but again things work differently in a 3 *** limited service property than a higher end property. In the end, we enjoyed our stay as the unit was spacious for 2 or even for a family. If your a golfer, you have 9 courses within 10 minutes, easy access to Gibraltar, Sotogrande for its shops and dining, but a car is needed, even just around property and to explore the area. Be Ready. "

"This is a wonderful holiday home with the most beautiful sea view, attentive hosts and all the amenities you could wish for to enjoy a tranquil and relaxing break. Michel and Henri are really welcoming hosts and communications were excellent wherever needed throughout our stay. Inside the comfortable living space are comfortable beds and clean rooms and en suite bathrooms, a very well equipped kitchen, huge fridge and high quality kitchenware. There are all the appliances you could need and everything worked perfectly. Outside you couldn't ask for more, a large clean pool with optional heating, and a lovely hot tub where you can spoil yourself looking directly out over the ocean and all the coast. There are House Martins, hawks, seabirds to watch while you relax outside and many ways to make yourself comfortable lounging on the spacious patio. We had a wonderful holiday here and I would recommend this to anyone, we were sad to leave such a beautiful location to come back to UK February weather! "The apartment is stocked with everything you need. Location is wonderful and great host. The parking and entry in and out of apartment is wonderful if you have elderly guest on your trip. It was perfect for our 90 plus year old parents. "

"Arrived very late - found it difficult to find entrance in the dark but once I did Receptionist let me in and was very helpful. Enjoyed my stay. Quiet due to time of year. Staff friendly. Pools looked great but didn't get to have a swim as only available from 10am and I was up and out early. Poolside bar and restaurant available at set times- didn't use this. Parking on site was 5 euros a night but safe to park outside on road so did that. Apartment very private with own patio and garden area to relax in. Quite spooky returning late at night as so quiet and no lights in apartment block. Free Wifi. Link to messaging service with Reception but none of my enquiries were ever answered so easier to just walk to reception and ask! Easy access to main road and short drive to nearest beach - beach in Manilva itself ( Dequesa) was excellent and nice and quiet too. Excellent value for money and would definitely stay here again. "

"First time I’ve ever felt the need to do this but here goes:The check-in was seamless, all went as explained.Overall we had a good stay at the villa, the pool area is lovely, plenty of room for 9 of us.We did have some negatives, we had no air conditioning in 1 room upon arrival for 5 nights, the unit broke down which can’t be helped but why hasn’t it been checked before we arrived. The unit in another bedroom also stopped working but was fixed the next day. The pool filtration system also stopped working a couple of times. Again can’t be helped, on both occasions they reacted quickly to try and fix the issues.Unfortunately the cleanliness of the bedding, towels and tea cloths was quite dreadful. I travel quite extensively with work and I’ve never stayed in a villa or hotel where the linen was so smelly. Upon removal of the bedding the pillows and mattresses were very heavily stained and the pillows were smelly.We had to wash multiple loads of bedding and towels for them to be useable. Not what you would expect to have to do when you arrive on holiday in a villa which is beautiful and not exactly cheap to rent.The cleanliness of the villa was also questionable, the kids wear white socks and after walking around INSIDE the villa they were very dirty. The BBQ was filthy when we arrived, we had to spend quite a bit of time cleaning it before we could use it, as was some of the kitchen equipment.Also not enough sun beds and a few maintenance jobs needed."
