"I tried to cancel this stay after a close friend's death. I reached out to you to try to retrieve my money or to at least get a credit so I could visit Portugal and stay at the Villa Marquez a week or so later. You responded that you had tried to reach them but they refused. I do not understand why you are now asking me for my review of the stay. You are already informed that I was unable to visit. You are also informed that I wished to postpone my stay at the Villa Marquez. You are informed that they had refused. "Great location to experience the joys of Ayamonte. Easy walking to the centre of the town with all the restaurants bars and cafes. We did have a couple of issues during our stay but these were sorted exceptionally quickly by Sylvie who was a pleasure to deal with and really friendly and helpful. Our only concern was the traffic noise from the next street. It was very hot during our stay but we couldn't leave the windows open because of the traffic noise but this could be rectified with some aircon units in the bedrooms. Overall it was a great place to stay and we would go back. "

"Lovely hotel on the hill above Ayamonte, a very peaceful location with a beautiful view of the sunset over the river which is the border with Portugal. Clean, good service, ideal if you want to explore the area and stay in a relaxing and chilled space."
